Today is the premire of the Disney/Pixar movie cars. I got to see it today at one of the early showings. All I could say is that it is very funny. Owen Wilson of the Wedding Crashers plays Lighning McQueen. he is a hot shot rac car that was on the verge of being the first rookie to win the Piston Cup. But he gets lost in a nearly deserted town of Radiator Springs. He also gets into trouble as well. Oscar winning actor and race car driver Paul Newman plays Doc Hudson. He's the towns doctor and judge who has a secret that no one else knows. The cats also includes Micheal Keeton (as the cheating race car Chick Hicks), Chech Marin, Geroge Carlin, Bonnie Hunt, Jay Leno, Bob Costas to name a few. Larry the Cable Guy gits it done as the hillarious tow truck Mater.
There are some racing stars that have lines in this film to. Darrel Waltrop really plays his part well as Darrel Cartrop (a commenator that relly hams it up like he dose on the Fox/FX tellecasts). Richard Petty play (of all things) a '70 Superbird called The King. Dale Earnhardt Jr. playd Jounor. Marrio Andretti has a speeking cameo. F1 star Michael Schomacher also has a cameo as (natrually) a Ferrari.
It is great fun. I recomend you all go see it.
