Izam De Elua lol, its not even that, what you do is you take the original and you make a copy of it on your computer, from there you go about what you want to do (yes you can switch theme graphics but be careful) and then burn it to a DVD+/-R at the slowest speed possible. Since it's a burned copy, you'd need a modded PS2 to play it right?

1un4r5h4d0w D3m0n1ca 1un4r5h4d0w Razer_2mb D3m0n1ca Well, You need an ITG machine, a laptop, a blank CD and stepmania. You put the file Stepmania.exe on it and put it on there I guess. That's all I know. Trick Master Mint told me most of it. His account is blocked for a certain time so If you have a question ask me and I'll tell him. He has a second account known as Xelamint. Also, is there anyway to put Stepmania on a disc that can run on the PS2? Odds are: No (since it is an awesome pipe-dream). Don't think so, but I'm pretty sure you can hack ITG PS2 and add your own songs to it. Really. Do you know how? Not at all, but I'll dig around for information. Well, if you can find anything, pm me with the information.

Wrong. There is a lot of things you need to do before you even THINK of putting stepmania on a DVD. I don't even know how you can mod the PS2 in order to even get the thing working. I think you need as swap disc of some kind. Like I said, I don't know.

On Stepmania for the PS2, I believe the attempt used the linux build and the linux dev kit for the PS2 and ran at a mind blowing 4-5 fps cool . Of course, thanks the the Roxor folks we have a build of ITG/SM that was made officallyfor the PS2 and brings joy to anyone who likes tweaking with their games. On and D3m0n8ca, yes you can use a swap disc but you can also use a flip top.

I thought you were talking about actually making a Stepmania game you could run off a disc on a PS2.

But the ITG machine is basically a computer with a large frame. So it would be easy to run stepmania on one. Wait, shouldn't this go into the Stepmania subforum?

Now that you've seen the core of ITG you'll see why hacking ITG2 is so easy because all it really needs to work is access to the hard drive in the machine and proper file formats.

I really need the software to hacking DVD's.

When I opened up ITG, here's what i found:
BOOT.PAK IOPRP300.IMG pcks (Folder with 99.999% of the game space) SLUS_211.77 SYSTEM.CNF
What the hell is this?

This is the basic structure that the PS games are built on. The Playsation reads the other files suck as SLUS_211.77, SYSTEM.CNF, and BOOT.PAK on how to decrypt and play the game. Again if you're going to attempt this you are going to need to find the software to do so.
