My latest journal entry talks about my life before I started online gaming. But there is a lot more to it. When my parents made me move in third grade, I got really depressed. I was afraid to trust anyone or care about anyone. In the past year and a half I started opening up again. I've made a lot of wonderful friends, 7 of them. But at the end of the school year (one week from now) two of them are moving across the country. I feel horrible, almost as horrible as before, but I'm having trouble holding it in. Today at lunch I had a breakdown, and my friends got really worried. I don't know what to think anymore. It seems like every time I start to open up, and feel good again, something happens to get me down.

I know where you are coming from hon'. The same stuff happens to me all the time. You moving and friends moving is never easy on anyone, I'm glad you posted it in a thread its good to talk about. Its bad that you're friends are moving accross the contry but it isn't all that horrible. You can still keep in touch if they have e-mail or instant messanger. If they don't have internet then you can always give them your address and phone number. Just keep track of them, they aren't dead so you can talk to them ^^. Also with the beging of every school year there is a chance to meet new people and mabey you can find more friends to hang out with you and your lasting 5 friends. I wish you luck and I hope you feel better, I hope I was able to help you in some way.

*runs around the guild* I found you! smile Dont forget that all your friends will always be in your heart. Treasure the times that you guys have had together and treasure what they have taught and shared with you. You will be ok. Just hug tightly a friend or stuffed animal and you will feel better. (Chocolate saves depression. atleast for me anyway) Its ok to show how you feel. Maybe some of your friends are also sad that your other friends are leaving. Maybe they can help you feel better.

It's hard to deal with the pains of opening up to people. I too have had problems with making friends without getting hurt severely when they move or leave me behind, but there's one thing I want to say (aside from completely agreeing with the last two posts), and I want you to think about. There is no happiness without sorrow, and there is no love without hate or hurt. Like the world, our emotions are made of balances, and without the trials and tribulations we would loose touch with the worth of the moments of happiness we recieve. Without suffering, we cannot TRUELY know how much happiness and love truely means to us. Savor the time that you had with your friends, and keep their memoriees close. You're not going to get through life without loss, and the best thing you can do for yourself is just press on in hopes of a brighter future. Your happiness depends on a lot of things, but the #1 factor in it all is yourself. If you focus on being upset or unhappy, or think you'll never smile again, you won't, because your own thoughts are keeping you from it.
I hope I helped a little. Keep your chin up! We're here for ya.

Everyone already gave you some pretty good advice... >.<
I hope you feel better. Always know that we are here for you and even if we move it won't be a big deal, lol.

My dad's in the military, so I know how you feel. It really does suck to lose friends. You'll be ok though. I'm here for you if you ever need to talk about anything.
