They had an argument during a recording session. It ended up to be Mark and Travis vs. Tom. Tom got upset and stormed out and that was the last time they talked to each other.
Also, Mark and Tom met through Anne, Mark's sister. When they first met at a skate park, Mark wanted to impress Tom, so he climbed a lamp post, fell, and cracked both his heels and ankles and was in crutches for 3 weeks.
Also, TOYPAJ was originally going to be called "What Rhymes With Venus." TOYPAJ is also a "tongue-in-cheek reference to masturbation." To see the reference, look at the title closely.
Scott had was told to either stay sober or leave the band after Dude Ranch was recorded. He said he would, but Mark and Tom doubted his sincerity and was told to leave. When Scott left, blink was halfway through a tour with The Aquabats. Travis was the replacement drummer for blink when Scott left the band. It took Travis two hours to learn the entire drum set. His efforts earned him appreciation, respect, and the offer to join blink-182.
Travis' nickname for The Aquabats was "The Baron Von Tito."
When Travis was a teenager, he met veteran drummer/producer Bill Stevenson, but he was treated very rudely by him.
Travis' marriage ceremony was Gothic-style, inspired by The Nightmare Before Christmas.
Tom's first guitar was from a friend who found it in a dumpster.
During one of their first performances at a bar, no one showed up. After one song, they were kicked out. After they left, the bar manager brought Tom a Snapple and said, "You deserve it."
Blink-182 was almost sued by an Irish band that was also operating under the name Blink.
Tom belives that the Government was behind the 9/11 attacks. he said "The [World Trade Center] came down in a fashion similar to a controlled demolition ... and the expertise that is needed to fly those gigantic planes into that exact location could never have been achieved by someone who just learned how to fly a small plane."
The Mark, Tom and Travis Show had 29 hidden tracks.
The song Family Reunion was only performed live and the only words that aren't profanity are: and, my, too, I, your, dad, mom, and the last line in the song. In the live version, the last line is replaced with Mark and Tom saying "I f...ed your mom."
Tom bought a computer just for the sole purpose of researching alien/UFO websites.

Josie had 2 music videos. The first featured the band playing in a basement that was quickly flooding with water. As bandmembers Mark, Tom, and Scott were unhappy with the way the video turned out, it has never been released. At one stage in the second video (the one in High School, a poster saying “Grand Moff Tarkin for school President” appears. This is a reference to a character in the popular Star Wars series. It appears as a result of an obsession with Star Wars shared by Mark and a member of the film crew.
