So, does anyone here play Guild Wars? I have a friend who's sending me the game for free, and since it doesn't have a subscription cost, I'm going to see if I can get into it. So I was just wondering if other people played it.

i'm planning on getting the guild wars factions i saw the box set with bonus stuff and i must have it even though it costs about 50 pounds at a shop far far away in the nearby galaxy close to the starts of naboo... opps my latest personality disorder is a narrator junie so just forget i said anything crazy...... brains.....

Well, I got the game. If anyone else plays, and wants to look me up, I currently have a lvl 7 Ranger/Elementalist named Cade Selkirk.

As I understand it, it requires grouping, even to get from place to place.
As an individual who likes to "play alone, together" I'll pass. Heard it's very enjoyable nonetheless.

actually, they have NPC Henchmen to group with. I'm like you, I like to go solo. I mean, maybe not quite as much, as I'm more of just too shy to get a group than anything else. The NPCs aren't as good, but you can still use them to get through most of it. There are "Missions" that you're way better off getting a group, but still. It's not as bad as it sounds, because you can get an NPC group.

I own it but haven't played every since my computer crashed cause I have to reload it up and reregister. But I was a Elementalist/ Necromancer.
