But I don't quite understand the problem you guys have w/ your bishops not wanting to do do abstract things w/ your girls. Mine have allways encouraged the girls to do different things to make a comfotable variety. This puzzles me as why you leaders would not want you to intoduce the girls to different things. Heck, bishop has a 5 mile hike for all the youth planned for August.

Can I borrow your bishop? mrgreen Who knows why some bishops do one thing and others don't? I'm going to go look up this Camp Fire thing and see if there's a Canadian chapter.

*choke* (Of surprise, not offense.) Me? Nuh-UH. No offense to anyone who is a Liberal, but I find it rather difficult to live out here, what with Pride parades, all the other celebrations of "diversity" and the seemingly constant assumption that choosing to adhere to a set of religious principles means checking your brain at the door.

We've considered moving to Calgary because we hear the teaching positions there are really good-- not to mention plentiful-- but I think it'd take a direct order from God to get my husband out there. He has a sister who is lesbian and SSM and the other issues are a very touchy subject for him.

(That and I'm from Maryland and have no desire to be covered in snow all year round. wink )

No, you cannot have my bishop. We love him very much. You would have a very big fight on your hands if you ever wished to get him away from us. ^_^

I dunno if there is a Canadian Camp Fire chapter. It's called Camp Fire USA and I've never heard about other countries having the organization. You should ask though. If the main president heard that Canda was interested I'm sure they would do anything to help you. It would be cool to be Camp Fire International. whee
