http://action.freepress.net/campaign/savethenetTomorrow Congress will attempt to pass a law that abandons the First Amendment of the Internet. Basically, the Internet will be split up into two tiers. This is mainstream medias way of declaring war on independent media. If we don't act now, there will be a difference between 'Free' and 'Open' Internet. The internet needs to be neutral.

The creator of the Internet gave teh right to the public, so no one should really have control over it. Besides, it's considered a British invention and it's international. Putting all these factors together, I'm supprised to hear the US Government are trying to do something like this. Well it doesn't affect me.

But think about it, how many people in the US are on the internet daily? Now think about this: How many of us could they stop? That's right, they can't stop us all. It'll be like outlawing alcohol. It'll blow over quickly.

And it isn't called the "world wide web" for nothing. This is a world issue, not just a US issue
