DescriptionFour continents exist on New Earth. Within these continents, 12 main goverments exist along with quite a few smaller, less important ones. Everything in this world was formed by former residents of the old world, thus alot of things may seem simular. This RP will be based in one of the main countries (for now!); FSA.
The world is currently at unease.. Countries are beginning to close their borders to any outsiders, even traders. All communications between the various countries has ceased with no due cause.

Please remain calm, there is no need for alarm. Top government scientists have found that outsiders have been bringing various diseases into our great country. This is not intentional, as the different habitats across the globe are home to these diseases. The voice has spoken. All borders are to remain closed untill further notice. All travel outside of the country is prohibited. If you are experiencing any strange symptoms, please contact your nearest medical facility.Intel suggests NUSR is preparing too attack. All military personal are to be armed and prepared for combat. We will handle this like any other war; our main objective is to prevent the public from learning of our existence. Secondary objective is victory. All SAF personal are to be briefed on aerial assault immediately.We have a situation here. A new element has been discovered, as you all know; Varium. The weapons created with this element have exceeded our previous estimates with over 700% energy output. The situation is, the other secret militia groups have this technology as well according to our spies. With these new weapons in hand, the governments are growing more aggresive and will begin attacking soon. This up comming war will be like nothing this world has seen. The 407 years of peace will now be broken and the public will inevitably learn of the secret military. Our main object is to find a way to ease this discovery for the public. Government DescriptionsFSA - A country lead by 'the voice'. The majority of the public believes it is the voice of God himself and follow its words religiously. There is a fraction of the population that are sceptical however, as they should be.
NUSR - The NUSR has a rather unique government system setup. Throughout all of the cities, extensive networks are setup to spy on the population. The government then takes this 'intel' and makes decisions based on it. That way, the public thinks the government is all knowing and wise.. And will follow its guidance without question.
Secret Military((Only FSA military branches will be revealed at this time. Some things will remain hidden, as they are important towards a possible plot. When you create a character, you can only be from the FSA and only be in one of these branches. If you choose HOJ, you must be on special assignment and attached to a unit. We will be focusing our rp group on the SA, unit 41. So if you choose a seperate branch, come up with some creative reason you have been assigned to unit 41! Important; If you choose HOJ, you better know what your doing! An extremely detailed character will only be accepted.))
SAF - Secret Airforce. This airforce is nothing like the old airforce on earth. There are no 'jets' or anything of this sort. SAF members have been geneticly altered, their genes split with that of the jumping spider and raven. This gives them incredibly increased refluxes, along with many other things.. Including fully functionable wings and razor sharp claws. All SAF members are equiped with a PCD ((Personal cloaking device; explained later)) as to keep them invisible to the naked eye. They are allways sent in as a preliminary attack. They also use an SAD ((Stamina amplification device; explained later)) for long flights.
SA - Secret Army. Allways refered too as 'the army' or 'army'. NEVER refered too as its real name 'Secret Army'. To speak it is taboo. This force is mixed with all types; normal humans, geneticly altered humans, shinjo humans ((explained later)) and geneticly altered shinjo humans. Standard issue equipment differs from the units. Soldiers are allowed to use non-standard issue equipment, at their captain's discretion.
BA - Battle Angels. A unique military branch of FSA. These soldiers are altered at birth with a gene found on a meteor. The origin is unknown, however.. This gene offers incredibly fast regeneration and grants healing abilities. They can heal a mortaly wounded soldier instantly, but for some reason only once a day. Battle Angels can mix potent potions out of just about any plant, they usually have a side effect however. They have more abilities, but that information was classified over 100 years ago.
HOJ - The Hand of Justice. Oftenly refered too as 'his iron will and right hand', this small force are the elite of the elite. Their main goal is to protect the underground HQ at ALL costs. They are ALL geneticly altered, but in which manner is classified. Equipment they use is based on individual taste and is not standard issue.
Equipment((The equipment in
bold tags is currently available. The equipment in
italic tags is currently unavailable. Please note, certain conditions may be attached to a piece of equipment. Your character can also hold a certain ammount of weight without being overburdened.. Keep that in mind. Feel free to develop your own equipment. PM me with a detailed description, its strength's and weakness', where your character 'wears' it along with anything else you can think of. I don't want to limit your imagination here.))
PCD - Personal cloaking device. This device simply bends the light around the target, rendering it invisible to the naked eye. This invisibility is more effective at longer radius'. Only an SAF and HOJ soldier has access to this device.
SAD - Stamina amplification device. This device increases stamina by a great deal. Stamina is stored within it by its wearer when its not needed. It only drains a small ammount at a time, but it builds up over time. This stamina is stored for later when it is needed. The SAD has a built in AI computer that determines when the wearer is in need or has access stamina. Available to any branch.
LSH - Light shield: high. This is a device that projects light around its wearer with such great intensity, it can ward off most attacks. It also drains the wearer's stamina, but combined with an SAD it will only drained stored stamina. It converts this stamina into pure energy by using advanced cell acceleration.. This energy then consumes itself and creates another cell.. Causing an explosion of light. The cell created grows weaker each time, so it needs a constent flow. This light is then bended with a built in PCD, to completely surround the bearer. The LSH can only be used for a limited time, usually only able to ward off one or two attacks.. Unless the person using it has an unnatural ammount of stamina. Once stored stamina is used up, the LSH will automaticly turn off.. Unless otherwise programed to do. If it did not and the bearer's stamina was to power it, the person would not have enough strength to even keep his own heart beating and would obviously die. Unless, as stated before, the person has an unnatural ammount of stamina.

Weapons((There are so many different weapons developed by the secret military, I will only provide a basic list. By all means, come up with your own weapons and weapon modifications. PM me your ideas and I will approve it if I like it.))
SG772 - Fully automatic rifle. Each clip holds 30 rounds. An adaptation of the SG550 from old earth, this rifle has been heavily upgraded.. Complete with liquid cooling system and advanced targeting AI. This rifle comes standard with heartbeat sensor ((for seeing enemy positions through obstructing objects)) and can recycle spent shells into new, usable bullets. Standard issue for the SA.
Wolf - Dubbed as 'man's best friend', this is the stardard issue sidearm of all military branches. Comes standard with several different fireing settings, a port for HUD, advanced targeting AI and MIS ((Missile interuption system, can detect and neutralize several incoming projectiles. While active, this weapon cannot be fired)).
ClothingStandard issue uniform - The standard issue military uniform displays many forms of protection. Having learned from the old earth militaries, soldiers are now fully armored. The only part of the body left unprotected are the hands, to allow more control over their weapons. The suit includes lifesupport systems, several modes of vision settings ((Infrared, heat, motion and sound)) and are heavily protected. The metal these suits are made from is unique too new earth. It is ultra-light and plyable, but is virtualy unbreakable and penetrable ((Can only be broken by extremely cold temperatures)). Standard issue uniforms also include a basic HUD, which can be programmed for different environments. Each suit is custom made and unique to its soldier.
