I understand that they are not from the FF7 world in Kingdom hearts, but still!!! for one, Why is Cid ten years older than he is in FF7? Why is Cloud's sword wrapped up? It just doesn't make any sense.

Well, it's just like saying why Yuna, Paine, and Rikku were turned into fairies in KH2. rolleyes It's just how they want it. That's why it's an alternate universe.
