Why:I like Edward Elric because he sorta has the same personality as me,I mean when someone calls me something that I don't like(example=Ed hates to be called short) I would get really mad.
Also,I have the same depression like Ed which I won't talk about.
Also,he is indepentent and never gives up on his hopes and dreams.

Female or male: Female
Why: I love how much I can relate to her character and just how likable and realistic she is. She's a strong female character who's not afraid to take on her responsibilities, but at the same time, she's your average and flawed sixteen year old girl. She's not perfect, but she always does her best and is fiercely loyal, and almost always cheerful and cares a lot for her friends. Sure, she can be a little bossy and over the top sometimes (such as getting upset with Kenshin for not forcing Arai to forge a sword for him), but it just makes her a realistic character. Misao is definitely my all time favorite anime character, over any of the male characters I like, even.
