Saki smiled and hugged him tightly.
"And I you." She said quietly kissing his shoulder and moving away from him to kneel on the floor. She reached into her bottom drawer and pulled out a blue cotton pajama yukata and handed it to him along with a tie.
"You should change out of those wet shorts." She said with a smile. "I want you to stay." She said sitting next to him and placing her hand on his knee. "Nothing funny, I just don't want you to be alone after this."

Lex's smile softened as she kissed his shoulder. He wasn't entirely sure what this meant exactly for them, but he was too happy at the moment to care. He watched her pull away and pull out the blue yukata and took it from her. He was about to rise to his feet to go change when she looked over at him and told him that she didn't want him to be alone after all of this. The yukata slipped out of his hand as he wrapped his arms tightly around her. He hugged her with his chin resting on her shoulder for a long while before he pulled away and kissed her softly on her lips.
"Gracias amor. You don't know what that means to me," he smiled and kissed her softly again. He then pulled away completely and picked up the yukata from the floor to disappear into her bathroom to get changed.

As he was in the bathroom Saki changed into her pjs and climbed into bed. She took a deep breath and looked at the ceiling. It would be fine as long as they were careful she told herself as she lay in the semi darkness waiting for him to return.

Lex changed into the yukata and hung his swimtrunks up on the shower bar so that they would be dry in the morning. He walked out of the bathroom and flicked off the light. He let his eyes adjust to the darkness and walked over to her bed. He slipped under the covers and pulled her into his arms.
"Good night mi amor," he said softly, kissing the top of her head.

Saki smiled as he joined her and huddled up against the smooth cotton that covered his chest.
"Good night." She murmured closing her eyes as she got comfortable. Despite the suprising turn of events it did not take long for her to fall asleep, comforted by his warmth and the rhythm of his breathing.

Lex stared up at the dark ceiling as he listened to Saki fall asleep. He liked the way she felt in his arms. Things would get better for him. He was determined to make it so. He couldn't lose her. He wouldn't hurt her. Everything was going to work out, he thought as he pulled her a little closer and yawned softly. He let his eyes close and soon he was fast asleep.~~~ Fade to Aquamarine ~~~
