One RP tip that I absolutely adore <3
The thesaurus is your friend I always make it a rule to never use the same word twice unless un-avoidable.
Good example: She hurried along at a rapid pace. Knowing if she didn't the others would get there before her. Increasing her speed she, quickly made her way through the market square.
Bad example: She rushed to her destination. Knowing if she didn't the others would get there before her. Increasing her speed she rushed through the market square.
It just sounds so horrible I dunno thats the best example I could think of right now x.x

Um, Rabid, in the second post, i think, the tips from [Hannah], there's a mistake. She said that if you take out the A, blablabla, you get They're. That's wrong. You'd get There're...I think.
TIP~
When you rp, talk about yourself in third person, it sounds much better.
Bad Example~ *As I appear in the middle of the bar, my eyes scan the area, looking for ----*
Good Example~ *As she walks into the middle of the bar, her eyes scan the area looking for ----*
