He quickly placed his back on the wall so as not to be seen. "Well, look at what ye got yerself into this time Seamus." He whipsered to himself. He began to walk sideways along the wall. That is, until he hit a table and a vase fell to the floor. the vase broke with a loud crash before he could catch it. He quickly looked towards where the gaurds were and made ready some of his runes in case he had to fight. One rune, a flashbang type rune, was in the forefront. the only downside to it is that he would be blinded as well and would have to rely on his eyeless sight. Unable to see the walls and very little air circulation, it will be extremely difficult to maneuver the halls.

((I'm assuming the palace, thus Lyra's room is in the capital...))


The sky was bright and large white clouds decorated the blue space. The warming sun, too, gave his blessings to the inhabitants below. Perhaps things seems well on the surface, beautiful as nature would be so generous. Yet within the mortal realm, things do not alway co-aligne with such beauty.

Outside the gate of the capital city was a figure, battered and torn. Blood dressed his body while ripped garments and broken equipments covered the rest. His movements were slow and jagged. His hand griped his head and while his long silver hair lay forward covering his face. From the sound and moans of pain as well as the visual, it was not hard to see the horrible condition that he was in. It would seem that he could not even walk straight.... or can he?

The guards that were stationed at the gate gave each other glances. They knew he was not their responsibility and that they should stand their post. Yet compassion filled their hearts and the guard to the left rushed forward to help the one in pain. There was a weak voice from that character...

"hel...me...."
"Sorry? What di *cut off*"

The guard never finished his sentence for his armor flew left and right forcing multiple tares in his body before the metal swirled around the other character in random directions. The figure's hand became white as he griped hsi own head so hard. Blood flowed from his fingers and his entire body was in terrible condition. Yet, he kept going, moving, screaming, living in pain...

"WHROAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

The second guard held up his spear.

"Dont' come any closer!!"

But the warning was of little use for he too suffered the same fate as his partner. The figure moved closer towards and therefore soon into the capital, as though unaware of anything but his own pain...

Most who witnessed the horror fled. No one wanted to be in his path. Not when they would most likely die the death of the guards.

The red figure moved along the road. None of the guards could stand to whatever monstrousity that he has become. Their metallic gears ripped into the invisible stream and began circulating around the figure's body. Like debris around the earth they floated around this character. And as they collected, it became gradually harder to approach the figure proportional to the amount of of debris that had collected.

Pain seared through his body. His was, indeed, one gory sight. Broken, battered, and torn to the extent that white bones and ripped muscles could be seen. Yet regardless, the wound was nothing. Nothing that is, compared to the mental pain that he suffered.

His mind strugged for control. It fought against the curse that had been bestowed upon him. It fought against the pain and weakness of his own body. It fought against the guilt of taken innocence lives. It fought against the anguish at the lack of control over this battered body. And most of all, it fought against the overwhelming despair at knowing what his body was about to do. Control...no, lack of control. He had been targeted by a dark corruption spell.

His eyes was purged of its natural colors as crimson lines was carved against the solid white background. His eyes seem inhuman.

Ah the choices of man. Perhaps a fool who does not think, or a hero whose bravery is unmatched. Regardless, it would seem that more than just the guards have decided to interfere. The dark presence that loomed around the figure laughed. His voice was excited and in no way seemed to be in pain. Could it be the voice of the one approaching? No... it can not be. The figure's own voice can be heard in screams and moan.

"AHA HAHAHAHAHAHHAA, MORE!! MORE!! MORE!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Oh look my poupee, there's someone that's not a stupid guard. Lets have some fun. hehehe heheheAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAAA"
"WHROAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA. someone....help...PLEASE..."

Immediately, as Kado approached. Whatever metallic substances on him would be sweeped away by the overwhelming field/force that had, too, ripped the gears of the guards and in effect, severed their body. What metallic substances did Kado have on him?

But suppose that he was not slaughtered by the power field that affected all metals(not including metals in the body or instant KO thus godmod). Then he would have to avoid the flying debris. Suppose that he got pass the circulating debris, regardless of the damage he did or did not sustained, the figure would do only one thing.

"AHAHAAAAHAHAHAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!! COME!!!! Strike here!! or maybe Here!! Anywhere will be fine. Come COME COME!!!"

The figure opened his arms wide and laid his chest bare. It was... a gory sight - broken gears and broken body. There was a twisted pain on his face and red tears flowed down its cheek. With a voice so weak he spoke, no, plead....

"...pl...plese....help....elp me...."

The figure received his share of damage. Yet, what is that damage in comparison to those which was already inflicted on this broken body? His body was obviously not his own and his own struggling mind wavered, as though about to flicker out any moment.

"Well well, ma poupee, it seems that the elaborate destruction here was a mere illusion. But that just makes things more interesting."

Ignoring his persuer, the figure flew up while all the orbiting metal followed, closed in and seemed to armor the body before passing through a dark portal into the same place where Vermillion and the others were.
