Tonight, I was super hungry and i found a jar of ready made green curry s**t. anyways i followed the instruction, but since i was feeding more than one person i had to streach the paste so what did i use?

COCONUT MILK, and its really good, becuase; it makes it less spicey (say if your cooking for kiddy wanks) and a smoother.

anyways it was really good, I sed beef and grean peas aswell in it.

Igive it a 9/10.

That's probably the vaguest statement I've ever herd.
Not insulting you but there's so many kinds of curry. So much wonderful curry...

God, I'm so hungry.
Kuru loves curry....
So much.

...I want curry.

*not stoned, just hungry*

Help! Kuru`s gone postal!

MMMM sounds more like a Thai Green Curry with the coconut milk! You might also like to try Thom Ka Gai, a traditional Thai chicken soup made with coconut milk and lemongrass. Lots of ingredients -- maybe a bit of a challenge to make, but be sure to order it if you ever go to a Thai restaurant.

Speaking of Curry... many many moons ago when I was in grade school in Hawaii, they served a Chicken Curry for lunch. It wasn't very spicy and had a stew-like consistancy. It was yellowish in color and had chicken and sometimes apples in it. I loved it and I would like to make it for my family, but all the recipes I find are either very complicated or don't sound like they would taste right. Does anyone have a recipe for a mild curry that's very simple?

Um. Right. I need to be active... sweatdrop

Edit: Crap missed the sub-fourm. I'll post my recipie there. I like curry myself, though what I make isn't all that spicy. I kinda just took snippits and ideas from various recipies and made a 'new' recipie from that.

I like yellow curry the best. Followed by Red curry.

There's a local place that has a pineapple yellow curry that's great. I think it might be Thai, but I honestly don't remember.

I only like japanese white curry, white doesnt actually require any effort for the actual curry. only takes a long time to make the potatoes, carrots and meat. japanese curry you just mix from packet and boil, there's not really much point making it from scratch, that'd be more expensive-curry packets are very, very cheap.

If you guys like curry you will prolly enjoy a manga called addicted to curry. It's sometimes a little adult (nudity...there is a sex scene) but only, i do believe once a book. they havent updated in a long...long...long time and im getting a bit annoyed at that. At the end of every book they have a recipe section that has the curries, or other recipes, used in each chapter.

tell me what you think!

if ya wanna download it: Addicted to curry

If ya just wanna read it: Addicted to curry 2
