That's so awesome for you to have a promise ring!!! I got one from my BF (now fiance). It was silver with a blue topaz, his birthstone for December, in it. It had two little delicate hearts on both sides. I still love it!!

Mine has 7 stones in the shape of a flower...but now I know I want my engagement and wedding band to be simple...cause these rocks catch on everything razz

Yeah, my engagement ring has one diamond in it and it lays flush against the gold and silver that is on it so it doesn't catch on anything! biggrin I so love it. also the wedding bands we're planning on are just a gold and white gold band, nothing to catch on anything. biggrin

That's cool. I like silver a lot better than gold but I think I'm kinda getting use to it. LOL blaugh Anyways, white gold seems to look about the same as silver to me so it makes me happy. biggrin
