Most of the camwhores on here have low self-esteem and think they are ugly when they are NOT.
Including me, I must say. But I am ugly. And everybody knows that.

The thing is, there is a fine line between saying you're ugly and actually thinking it.
There are people with low self asteem, (like myself) who honestly believe we're not good looking but there are a lot of people who just say that because they like the compliments that will obviously follow.
Posting pics whilst saying "god I'm ugly" is just asking for compliments. =P

I think I'm good looking as I am now, but as a kid, I think I was butt ugly.
What bugs me is when someone refuses to accept that they're good looking. You say they're pretty and they keep denying it and it's an endless loop. Until you come back with a 100% consensus agreeing that they're hot. xp

I agree with what's been said, there is a difference between saying you're ugly and believing you are. I am convinced I'm hideous and have met few people who tell me otherwise. confused

I used to have a lot lower self esteem (which is saying something because I don't have all that much now either) and it carried over to how I thought about how I looked all the time, I genuinely believed I was not attractive. Now, while I can't say I'm pretty, I can definitely say I'm not ugly ^_^
Usually one can tell by the way someone posts their pic or the title or something weather they are serious or not. Usually they are...which greatly saddens me because most of the time they are not at all ugly.

People say I'm "pretty" and "cute", but I don't normally see it... At the very most I'd say average on a fat way.

I don't think I'm ugly but at the same time I don't think I'm extremely hot. I think I'm just normal, not bad looking but not the best.
Myspace is a perfect example of this. People pictures captions // OMG I'M SOOO UGLY OMGESLDKFJ
after saying something like that they get comments such a**// Ohh no you aren't you're beautiful!!
Most of these people know they aren't ugly but do know that saying they are gets them ego-boosting comments.
And yes, there are people who really do think they're ugly. But they aren't the ones going around posting things about their pics like "OMG IM SO0O UGLY NO 1 WUD EVR LUV MEH"

Growing up I was the chubby asian kid... I never fit in... I still don't to this day...
The big difference between then and now is, now, I really could care less if I fit in...
I have never considered myself attractive... especially when I was younger... but I've never considered myself ugly either...
Some people like the way I look, and some don't...
That's life though...
There is no way to please everybody... you should just be happy with who you are and not worry about anybody else...

That may be the case for some things, but not in this case, the guy knows he looks good it's obvious to see in the attitude of his pictures.
Oh, and some people do post pretty pics of themselves because they think low of themselves, I'm one of them... but I know I'm not that bad looking at the same time and if anyone has ever seen this guys pictures before now, he'll know the exact same thing too.
