i quited ffxi a while ago, i like it very much until i pass 55( drk) ive went to 57, then i forfeit, waiting for party was wait to long, even tough i had all the good gear and sushi, farming for the hauby, vassago scythe and assault earing would have take wayyy to much time =/
so this is it, no more ffxi domokun

FFXI's one big flaw is that grouping takes forever in the end game. I played mages so I didn't usually have a hard time, but my BF was a MNK and he sometimes went for 10 or more days LFG. I was awful sad

boy i am going to have a ton of a harder time to get into parties if i stay as dragoon... right now i am only level 35 with dragoon(would level blm as it is 51 but got tired of it)

After I hit level 40, I got PTs in like 10 mins just for a high mp user. (Convert)

After I hit 41, I would get invites less than 1 min after I logged on. I also get constantly bombarded with invites when I am not LFG.

DRK isn't too bad and neither is MNK in terms of leveling.

Warrior past level 37 gets the absolute last pick in terms of tanking.
DRG is just as bad with waits as DRKs.

DRK financial-wise is tough later on, but when you look at SAMS and NINs and RNGs, you start to wonder: Is this expensive?
