I got this in addition to my letter in the mail. I posted this in the mission letters thread too
Topic: A Letter From Paladin!
Greetings memebers of "The Army of Helaman" Guild.
I'm sitting here in my apartment after a discouraging Sunday and got out the printoffs of the two pages of tghe goodbyes that I recieved from this guild. I would like to thank those of you who posted in that thread. It means alot to me.
Ever since I joined The Army of Helaman Guild when it was a single thread I have thought about it everyday. I joined when it was very young but was growing at a rate such that Mormon_Seebs could not handle a membership list. I went through the 300 pages of posts and collected the names of all those who had requested to join. Since then, I started the Official Army of Helaman Guild, and I devoted more than 2 hourseveryday to the management of the Guild. I have watched as 400 people, and 7 or 8 other gulds, have come into fellowship with it.
First off, I would like to thank Mormon_Seebs for starting the guild in a thread form. Everything came from that. I would like to thank ConcreteAngel, who invited me to be a member in that guild. I would like to thank Sereni Kitty, for allowing me to be the captain of tghe official guild, even though she could've been the one to start it up. I would like to thank all those who donated the initial funds for the formation of the guild. Particularly dancing_yumi, Termas, Sereni Kitty, ConcreteAngel and all other donors.
I woulds like to extend a big thank you to all of those members who served as my "council" as it were. I could not have run this guild when I did with my strength alone. Those whom I would like to extend special thank you's to are Sereni Kitty, Super Smurf, Mormon_Seebs, Termas, Panzer45, Kat_29, ConcreteAngel, Lestelle, Reiji, Qwyndara, Mahia M, DragonWarrior_keltyr, Jigoku_Angel, Misaki, Pheonix_echo, Helaman, Whiteballer and all others whom have served as members of the crew. I haven't been on for a long time, almost a year, so I cannot remember all of the names of those who assisted me.
I encourage you as members of the guild and of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints to be examples. Keep your language and dress clean and modest. Follow the prophet. Invite your friends to learn more about the gospel and seek to remove contention from the guild and from your lives.
I started this letter by stating that today had been a discouraging day - but the wonderful thing about being a missionary is that you are constantly in the service of God. In doing such, you feel the spirit testify to you that you are doing all right - that I am all that I can. In that sense I know that my Father in Heaven loves me and is watching all that I do.
Sincerely, Elder Matt Bennion, AKA paladin140
P.S. If any of you would like to write to me, please either post in this thread (CA or DWK will print it off and send it to me) or write me at:

You could also pm Ca or DWK with a message saying Letter for Paladin. They will print them off and send them and the replies in this thread in about 2 weeks.

Keep up the great work Palladin, and just remember, all are judged by their works. The lord bless, and keep you strong, well and safe.
