I admit I am a new fan to Green Day, but couldn't give a s**t if Billie Joe was "hot" or not. I do think he is attractive, but I wouldn't listen to the music if I didn't like the it. The music is awesome, and that is what's important. I love the Irish band the Elders also, and none of them are a teen heart throb. They're probably all old enough to be my father, but they have great music.
I didn't know what songs belonged to Green Day. I knew I liked the stuff from American Idiot, and so decided to ask for a CD of theirs for Christmas. My grandma bought me International Superhits, and I realized there were songs there that I had always loved, but never realized was by them. My parents change the channel when the music goes off, they hate commercials and talking, so I hardly ever know band names. My radio sucks, so I usually only listen in the car, and it's not mine so I have no control.

Thinking they are so cool because they chucks and a stud belt.
I was sporting that stuff when they were still dancing to barney.
I threw a rock at a girl
((because thats so mature hehehehe))
singing along with panic at the disco
when they were sitting in the starbucks parking lot....
She had on a green day shirt, with a pin on that said
I <3 Atreyu
so when came back out, I chucked her studded a** with a rock....

I hate people that only go to the concert because they think they are hot.
That just means that somewhere, a real fan..missed the show.
A real fan may have just missed their fist oportunity to see them live. the last part pissed me off. i reeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeelly wanted to go to a green day concert in pittsburgh but the tickets were sold out and you know why? because ******** rich people at my school who didnt even like green day went!! and since pittsburgh is like not such a big city theyre probably not even gonna come back either crying scream

The problem with that word (teenie) is that I cringe every time to it.
Groupie is a better word; can't we all pretend it means what he meant?! gonk
Everytime someone says teenie, a little kitten gets child molested mysteriously by a dog.
Groupie still means someone who has sex with the band. I hate the word teenie, but if you're going to stereotype, at least use the right words.

0+cottonmouth+0 i have to confess, at first, i started listening to GD because BJ is hot, then i just liked it ALL, and, euhm, what's 'chucks' and 'stud belt' ? sweatdrop Chucks are the most awesome shoes in the world (see my siggie) and a stud belt is one that has all those. . . uh. . . stud thingings on them.

I know, I know, it's a crazy concept, but there are people who like (heaven forbid!) My Chemical Romance, Panic! At the Disco, and even Fall Out Boy along with Green Day. At the SAME TIME! There are even some people who like only the American Idiot stuff. In my opinion, they're missing out on some great music if they only listen to the new stuff, but you know what? That's their choice. You can't force other people to like what you do. And you know what else? They can't help being younger than you, either. There will be some people who only listen to GD because it's the flavor of the week, but that's the way things are. Some people are just that way. What I'm trying to say is: STFU WITH YOUR ELITIST CRAP AND GET OVER IT!!

Fillette.Rance I've been called a teenie before, but you have to understand their background.
I can understand the stuff you guys are saying.
I say I love Green Day, and I used to always say Tre Cool. (still love him wink )
At the same time, I own 8 of their CDs so far and listen to them 24/7.
Not because I think all three of them are quite attractive, but also because I just love the music in general.
I swear, the next time someone calls me a teenie I am going to either internet slap them or slap them in real life. xd
The teenies who really piss me off are the ones who don't know a single thing about the band and act as well as dress extremely preppy. Of course, that is what many would refer to as a Poser. So true. I can totally relate to that. Hit the nail on the head, man! HIT THE NAIL ON THE HEAD!!!!!!

Dressing preppy doesn't mean they're not a true fan of the band. That's a really shallow and judgemental thing to say. It wouldn't qualify them as a poser. Not knowing anything about the band and saying that they love them, wouldn't qualify them as a poser, either. I've loved Green Day since I bought American Idiot, which was my second album by them. I didn't know any of their names or faces and I hadn't heard of Kerplunk! or 1039/Smoothed Out Slappy Hours. Still I loved them. And I wasn't a "teenie". Also, once I figured out what they looked like and their names - I thought Mike and Tré were the opposite people for a while - I thought that Billie was quite hot, yes. 3nodding . I still do. *shrug*. This was over a year and a half ago.
