Along the outskirts of Gertea the swift shadow of a passing falcon flickered across the ground as a blonde haired woman dismounted the dusty bay she had been riding.
As the woman set to work in removing a set of supplies from the saddle to set up camp, she froze in her movements; the silhouette of a slender cloaked figure falling within her line of sight.

"Still being ever watchful...past, present, and future...none of it escapes your gaze...Though that wasn't how it always was, Was it...Issildia?" Jadea finally turned to face the intruder who now stood with her hand resting lightly on the hilt of her blade.

"Nothing ever does catch you off guard Jadea..." Issildia remarked dryly. "Not even the death of your beloved Luin." she added in a sharp tone.

Smirking briefly Jadea looked up at Issildia who stood some distance from her.
"Well to say the least, I didn't let myself become a vengeful misanthrope when such things were stolen from me." Jadea countered darkly as she crossed her arms stiffly.

"Do not play such games with me....I did not come here to reminisce of the past. I have come here for information."

"And what makes you think I will supply the answers you require." Challenged Jadea.

"It has been over two millennia since Luin was slain and banished to the underworld...put aside your own need for revenge and tell me...Have you heard any word of Damien within this region. Is he still alive?" Issildia questioned as the harsh hiss of a blade being drawn was heard, Issildia's sword Nyththirren easily slipping free of its sheath. The gesture was an obvious threat to prompt Jadea into speaking.

"Do you seriously think I would be in a place like this if any of the Ryera still lived?"

"That is not what I asked you." Issildia stated in a flat tone. "You kept the secrets...you cleaned up the Ryera's mistakes...You would be the first to know if one of them still lived. Now answer me! Or you will be sentenced to the same fate as your beloved Luin."

Jadea laughed in a half hearted manner before she took on a far more serious demeanor. "I know nothing...only rumors, and I would guess that you already know of such things."

"Tell me what you know." demanded Issildia.

Turning back to deal with the bags that she had been removing from the saddle, Jadea spoke once again, her voice lacking the conviction of her former statement as if she no longer saw the point in hiding such information from her enemy. But as Issildia secretly expected, Jadea was never one to pass up an opportunity to spread deception.
"Alright then, What do you want to know." Jadea replied with a subtle smirk.
