I wrote it some time ago, and I must admit I acutally like it a lot, what do you think?

Snow Dancer

Snow dancer, child of winter
Just a shadow in the moonlight
Snow dancer you will never
Live to see the spring
You will never see
The dawning of tomorrow

Snow dancer, child of winter
Lonely daughter of the darkness
Oh dancer you will never
Smile upon a sunrise
You will never feel
The warmth of summer sun

Frozen inside you may be
But endless sorrow in your eyes
Not a footprint shows you?ve been here
Only I will ever see you
Snow dancer beautiful child
You're fragile and you'll splinter
You will always dance alone

Snow dancer moon dancer
Slow dancer mad dancer
Lonely and sad dancer
Only one step ahead of destruction
You and the night
Dying dying with the light

*sigh* crying Makes me think of home. There is no snow in Florida.

It could almost be a song, though I'm not sure what style would be most suited for it. I likes it. whee

(What did you use for inspiration, if you don't mind my asking)

I don't mind at all ^_^
So, inspiration: One of those really cold nights when the moon's shining down on the snow and everything's quiet and you're feeling a bit melancholic, the ice fairies in Fantasia, a character I was working on for a rp. Everything just kind'a melted together into this poem 3nodding
