Tom's voice wasn't that good early on in Blink, but it slowly got better and better as he got older. He finally learned how to really sing in AVA, but it just wasn't the same. When Blink finally got back together, his voice was still in AVA mode and he didn't sound right singing Blink stuff. When I saw them last year on the reunion tour, his voice sounded just like it used to, yet somehow reached a happy medium with his AVA voice. The underlying message of this, I suppose, is that his voice is awesome.
