The boyfriend: I have a bf who I am dumping soon. I will tell him it's because I'm going to be away all summer (truth).
The crush #1: I have liked him since October. He has a girlfriend. He and I do not know each other very well but I am working on it.
The crush #2: One of my best friends. I don't know if she's bi/lez or not.
Dating her isn't really an option at my small school. I know that but still... how should I go about these conflicting feelings?? cry

I would ask out the girl, but only after figuring out her orientation. If she's bi or lez, then I'd ask her out, since you know eachother very well as a result. However, DON'T ask her out without knowing her real orientation beforehand, or she'll probably be a little uncomfrtable knowing you like her. She might not, but I don't know her so I'd assume she'd be a little unsettled by it.
Also, the guy is allready dating someone, and I tend to side against breaking up a relationship for your own benefit. If you want to get with him instead of the girl, I suggest you wait until he's single OR his girlfriend does something deserving of losing him, like cheating on him. If it's only telling him what you know about an issue, then it's fine to interfere, so long as you think of HIS well-being instead of your own.
Also, dating someone is *always* an option. you would jsut have to hide it very well. No PDA means no one should figure it out.

Yeah, that's all very good advice. The only issue is I can't drive and my parents know I like her. So if I was asking them to drive me to her house every weekend, they'd figure it out.
I just don't think it's safe to come out at my school. It's full of uber-preps/"all-americans" who are uber closed-minded...you know?

Well if you really like this girl, I would suggest not letting any of that come between you. If you're too worried about it you could always keep your relationship on the downlow. But Im a bit confused on the situation with your parents. They know but do they not agree with your attraction for your friend?

They know but they'd rather me not be bi. They also do have a point, I must admit, with my school being too small en environment to safely come out. Plus I think she is indeed straight...life's fulla tragedies eh? cry neutral
