Ray smiled and nodded at Zanzen in a small, friendly greeting. He saw his father pass into the bathroom and could hear him cursing and muttering. "Holdon." he said as he held up a finger and followed after him. He poked his head into the bathroom. "Dad! d'ya need any help in there?? I hear I've gotten quite good... close enough to call it 'preening'." He chuckled softly. No, his skills weren't that good, but he'd helped Little Jack with his wings a good enough number of times to know how to clean them, and he knew how tedious their work was.

"Meat...lots of meat," mumbled Gabriel to Zanzen, his body screaming out for flesh. Even though his pills supressed his bloodlust, he could not completely drown out his soul's primal cry for meat.
Gabriel lay on the bench in the darkness while golden light twinkled lazily across the tiled floor of the bar, watching the rest of the patrons go about their business, and a guilty stab of envy raced through him. He'd had enough of lurking in the darkness; he'd not experienced the warmth of the sun in so long, and he found himself bitterly jealous of those people before him who so took it for granted.
But not Josephine...no, there was a woman, Gabriel was sure, who did not waste a single moment. Every day she lived was precious to her, and she never once thought herself hard done by, but saved her concerns for others. What am I saying, thought Gabriel, I don't even know this woman. Stop assuming like you always do.
But still...the feeling of familiarity and friendliness towards her would not go away. He would talk to her later...when the sun had had it's fun in mocking him.

Rosiel hears Ray calling to him, but his adopted son's voice echos in the small washroom, making him hard to understand. He turns around, rapidly, almost over balancing and falling out of the tub.
"What? I.. huh?" he sputtered. "What..? No... I don't need help. This place is just a little small.. and shut that door! I don't think Josephine needs to see me naked."

((Pardon for not posting lately, helping to hold things up and all. And for a not so good post now xD; ))
Faye smiled slightly at all the men. She watched them silently, considering how overwhelming the many people could be after having been virtually alone for so long. Her dizzy attitude to the conversation was heightened by the presence of Gabriel in the corner. Memories bogged her down as she fought them for security. Another man entered, another soul to watch, another mind to worry about it's workings. She was slowly sinking away in exhaustion. Faye closed her eyes for a moment then took the nearest seat as her own. She pulled her small body into itsself, relaxing her head in her hands.
Keovari watched Faye from the stairs they had decended earlier. She was still weak from the travel and lack of sleep. He considered creating a diversion or problem she could use to escape, but he knew that if she didn't stay and face her problems with Gabriel and the others, that she would regret it later. As another man entered, he crossed the room and twined about the man's legs. A stranger who set off no worries in Keo's mind. For now, he would let Faye not worry about this man and a few of the others. They could never be as real a threat as Gabriel.
As Faye took her break on the chair and the room continued to move around her, she resituated her mind. She released a few wards that she had established around her thoughts, allowing the possibility that if someone were to try to speak to her through their thoughts, they could. It could be dangerous to leave herself so open, but she didn't have the energy left to keep them all intact. The release freed her slightly. She felt lighter.
In a sort of smooth and sudden occurence, a women entered the bar. The first reaction Faye had was of surprise and gratitude that another female would join the group. The second reaction was less subdued. Faye stood up and gasped softly, her delicate gloved hand rushing to her lips. No! Mystical?
Keovari turned instantly as Faye's mind called out in surprise and displaced fear. He watched as his Ward sunk back to her seat and covered her eyes. Lady Mystical? He moved below the tables, twisting through the chair legs and the feet of the standing people. The white cat stopped beneath a table not far from the woman who had just entered the room. He stared.

((Thank you Raymond! I do try. ^.^ Oh and Faye, don't worry about it okay? At least you posted something, and it's not bad! *pets* ))
A soft grin curled at her lips as Mystical felt the gaze of the others burrowing into her skin. Her head remained lowered with her eyes still closed as her hand continued it's rhythmic petting of the dragon's neck and back. So I've not gone mad after all... She spoke directly to her companion through the bond they shared.
Not even a glance was required for her to gage the reactions of the others, her innate empathic abilities would more than suffice for this. Their surprise was pleasing to her and only served to verify her suspicions. This was not to say she was not surprised as well, but she would not let on to such things. She was trained in the art of concealing such emotions and did not entertain them for long, if she even harbored them at all.
The tiny creature in her lap gave the woman's hand a soft nuzzle as if to encourage her, urge her on. Mystical gave a single nod of her head in understanding before taking a deep breath to center herself. Slowly her head tilted upwards, her eyes now open, until her intense gaze locked with that of the white feline. M'lord... it brings me great joy to see you again. Her inner voice spoke straight to the spirit's heart, the words were gentile and filled with emotions which she would not dare speak aloud.

...Where have I tasted this before?
Gabriel leant forward, bringing his face out of solid black shadow and letting dull, brass-coloured light light his features softly. It was as far forward as he dare come, not wishing to tempt the sun's cruel glare any further.
He swallowed the very air around him deep into himself, tasting it, savouring it's experience. There were new auras here now; some innocent, some not so innocent, and some unmistakable.
It looks so vulnerable, so fragile... but further in... Power, such power...the like of which you can never realise...
The flame-red and emerald-green mists swirled around Gabriel's mind, teasing a story to tell. He knew this aura, and he knew it well...but why, and from where? Before he could stop himself, his mind had blurted out...
Have we met?

Umm... *looks around at all the people in the room nervously* I guess no one else would like to eat right now... I'll be getting that meat then... *looks around at everyone again and then scurries off to find the kitchen* (I'll probably find a way to exit myself from this RP. I'm not needed. So I'll think of a way to leave so I don't just... vanish. =3;; )

((Greetings Lady Mystical, and Zan, no, we do need you. I just need to get off my a** and get Stefan XD. Sorry about the delay... I was really sick...)) Rosiel finally got finished the tedious task of cleaning his wings. He got out of the tub, grabbed a towel, turning his attention to his son.
"No, I don't mind you. It's not like you've not seen me naked. Listen closely, that woman, the one I call Josephine. That's not her real name. Her name is Faye, but you are not to call her that. One of my other guests, Gabriel, he seems to have some sort of history with her. I have no clue what the hell is going on, but this Gabriel discovering that she is Faye will likely lead to nothing good.
"Don't get me wrong, Gabriel seems a good man. He's a vampire, or something close to it, yes, but good none-the-less. Just please... they'll figure out your my adopted son. Act like you've seen her before, like she's one of my friends, and call her Josephine!" he finished, in a hurried whisper, barely audiable by even Ray.
Turning and bending over the tub, he drained the water completely, and used the towel to dry his long hair. He stepped up to the sink and looked at the mirror, frowning at the stubble on his chin. Rosiel took some soap, lathered it over his chin and cheeks, and used his small silver dagger to remove the would-be beard.
"Ray, do I still smell like Vodka?"

A familiar voice echoed in Mystical’s head. The words puzzled her slightly yet she could feel the confusion within the man. Slowly her gaze turned rom the feline to peer into the shadows of the room. There she found the familiar shell of a man whom she had thought to be lost to the world.
Her gaze was kind, patient, with an air of sympathy. Her inner voice spoke out to the man softly. My dear friend, has this mortal form changed so much since our last meeting? Holding out a hand she examines it carefully. Nodding slowly to herself she lets out a slight sigh before returning her hand to it’s previous resting place. I suppose I have aged quit a bit since then eh? Six years passage has a way of changing a person. We have met before my friend... in a time long since past. Back then you knew me as Mystical. Her lips curl into a simple but gentile grin. It is good to see you again Gabriel.

A grin spreading across his face, Gabriel leapt from his seat and bounded towards Mystie, his arms outstretched. Unfortunately, in his excitement, he had quite forgotten the beam of sunlight which had previously cornered him there. As his body flew through the beam, a piercing hiss and roar could be heard as he collapsed in an agonising heap at Mystie's feet, curled and hunched like a wounded dog against the bar, groaning.
Gazing down at his trembling right hand, Gabriel winced as the skin cracked and split as he tried to flex his hand back into shape. Flame-like patterns of scarring coated it, and he gingerly pressed his good hand to the right-hand side of his face. Drawing it away with a growl, he picked himself up and stared into the mirror on the wall behind the bar. Vicious, angry burns disfigured that side of his face, and he sighed angrily in frustration.
"Don't worry," he announced to anyone who was concerned, "I'll be fine by tomorrow, but I apologise in advance for any blue language I might use until then."

Faye stared in mild disbelief as the actions played out before her. With her figers covering her face as best they could, the images seemed to play in flickers. A feeling began to seep through her. It was a confusing mixture of fear, excitment, joy, longing, hilarity, and a hundred other emotions that could not be expressed.
A rather similarly situated Keovari sat near Lady Mystical's feet, his eyes wide and blinking up at her then back to Gabriel's suddenly crispy form. Although the appearence of both aquaintences had been a surprise, Keovari felt that it was right that all should be in a room together once again. The only thorn in his side was tthat they were only together physically. Emotionally and mentally, where it really counted, the group that had once been inseperable was indeed seperated. However, this slightly chilish display of emotion and thoughlessness that Gabriel gave had given Keovari a slight hope. He obviously would not refuse recontact... If recontact were ever deemed possible. Keovari knew that Faye wished for it. But wishes mean little in our lives. He thought sadly as he gazed at the Lady's brilliant eyes. There was the catch though... Keovari cared for Faye's wish and for Gabriel's pain, but he felt himself inexpicably drawn to the Lady. After so long of having been with her, when she was not there, he had been devistated into confusion. For Keovari, so set in his pattern and comfort, losing the friendship of the Lady had been no different from giving up his senses. And now was his chance to see again. Lady... Lady Mystical. I could not be anyone but you. I could not doubt it. The pleasure of meeting again is all mine. Of that I assure you fullheartedly.
Faye watched out of some kind of morbid curiousity. She watched Gabriel make a fool of himself even as he tried to hide the clumsy actions he had just taken. She nearly bit the fingers over her face as she saw the burns on his skin. Faye frowned angrily as tears floated to her eyes in responce to his pain. Damn it. She tore her eyes away. Mystical...
