I did both of my English finals on those books! They ROCK! I have gotten 15 people to read them since I got them and they're trying to convince me to do something along the lines of stalking te author and breaking into her home to get an early copy of Eclipse (because November is too far.) And the sad part is I would probably do it if I didn't know I'd get it on an emo writer day and get to the last page where she would have some super sad/bad moment kill one of them. I was so worried in New Moon though when Edward's leaving was so final. I bought the book around eight PM and stayed up well past three reading it with a flashlight under the covers. I could not for the life of me put it down!

Animemoon I just realised, from the new moon peice I just posted There are 7 members of the Cullen household. o.o I think everyone exept Edward was going after her, and thats why he threw her out of the way, it took me a while, but I got it wink Or one of them could be out of the house. eather one. LMAO! But Carlisle is immune to the smell of human blood, remember? I almost made the same mistake... And, to whoever made the thread, you spelled the author's name wrong. whee Where an A usually is, there's an E: Stephenie...tricky. New Moon (the sequel) is out--it has been since October of 2006! I've read it twice, and I'm waiting on the edge of my seat for Eclipse (third book) which comes out in October of this year! So long... crying It'll probably be even worse waiting for Breaking Dawn (fourth book) and Midnight Sun ( Twilight in Edward's POV). I llooovveee this books... xd I'm such a fanatic about them..

Meh, Twilight was fine. It wasn't spectacular, but it was a nice, light read and I enjoyed it. biggrin

[Tsukuya] Eh, I was considering reading it until I found out it had vampires in it. I'm -er- not too fond of those kinds of stories neutral Neither am I, but I actually enjoyed Twilight very much. Give it a try.

At first glance, I was skeptical. Two of my close friends were practically obsessed with it and Edward, and I don't usually like pure romances- I like other genres that have romance in it. I don't like characters that are "perfect", and I don't like sappy romances. But, Twilight sucked me in, and now I love it!!
Twilight is one of my favorite books now! I love it, and I LOVE Edward!!! Squee, much? It rocks. New Moon wasn't as good, because I don't really like Jacob, even if he was taken in a context away from New Moon.

Although I think it was an okay piece of brain candy, it was by no means something to rave about. I really didn't like either of the main characters. It was difficult to say who annoyed me more, Bella or Edward...well, nevermind, Bella wins that. xp Their relationship is extremely overrated and honestly-it's borderline abusive. I mean, look at the way Edward treats Bella! You'd think she was his pet. stare

I've read only Twilight so far. It was pretty good, it was a nice little read. I liked how it was a new twist on a vampire romance, Edward was more like a teenager than the stereotypical vampire that tries to seduce the main character. It'll be interesting to read New Moon and see what happens next.

The books, of course, are better than the movie. rolleyes But the did really good for having to put it all into 2 hours. That's a lot of love right there! 3nodding My only regret is that they left out the whooooooole meadow scene. That's when they first really bonded!!! scream
