hmm.....i like to mine so it stands out when i scan it lol but i think black and white has an emotional solemn vibe about it but also if its colored then people who see it wont beable to relate to it unless they think up the colors in there head. so i guess if your trying to be inspiring then black and white seems to be the way to go in my opinion. but still color is pretty....GAH!!! i cant make up my mind lol n.n

[ ~ s h o r a i ~ ] It depends on what I draw. Some of my drawings look better in black and white, and some look better in color. But I choose color, since most people like colored drawings and it stands out more.

Value is one of my favorite elements of design, and I love the stark contrast black and white images give. That's why I only draw in black and white. =3

Good drawing leads to good colour. I've only ever done one colour sketch in situ, but of course I always paint in colour.

medium and subject are two huge components to consider before deciding on black and white or color...normally i use penncil, charcoal, or sharpie so my work is typically black and white, but several of my larger peices are in color

B&W rules the world, if you ask me. But it's mostly because I ruin coloured stuff almost consistently, and charcoal and me are best buds. Portraiture, one of my great loves, also has a bigger impact on the viewer when done in B&W.
