Hallo! I noticed this place is a bit dead so in the spirit of creating conversation, why dont we all introduce ourselves to one another? That ought to start some conversation, right? I'll go first.
Hallo there, lads and loves, I'm RebelRebel6. Im quite new to der guild, but please dont kill me for being a n00b. My fav Bowie songs are "Rebel Rebel", "Golden Years", "Law(Earthlings on Fire)", "Suffragette City", and "I'm Afraid of Americans (NIN Remix)". While I do like a lot of Bowie's new stuff, I tend to prefer his Ziggy Stardust look. In recent years he's toned it down a lot and it makes me a little sad. How about you?
I know that most people in this guild already know eachother, but still. LikeI said Im doing my part to try and bring this place a breath of new life. Cant say I didnt try.

Its fantastic that someones trying smile welcome!
I'm sarah, I was brought to the goodness that is bowie by a bunch of Queen fans. Not only did they throw some fantastic music at me - some I already knew and hadnt visited in years ((Like the labyrinth soundtrack)) and some is completly new. I have no favorites as my music taste changes from day to day - and have yet to find any Bowie that I dont like 3nodding
They also brought me to Areaology...so if I randomly scream out AREA dont mind me wink

hmmn haven't posted in here in quite some time. I used to be D3M0N1P0G0, but decided for a name change. Anyway, I couldn't really say I have any particular favourite Bowie song, or album, it all depends on what mood I'm in. As for his look, I gotta say my least favourite is his 80's blonde puffy hair look, ala Serious Moonlight period, it's probably my first memory of Bowie, and you know what they say about first impressions. I still reckon he's ace though xd

I'm a guild noob, just joined a few days ago. Haven't got specific favorite songs, but I prefer the Ziggy Stardust-era glam rock to the rest of Bowie's work, though it's all pretty good.

Hmm.okay, might as well post.
I'm just a plain glam rock fan to put it simple, I enjoy Queen, T. Rex, and of course bowie. I have all his works up to station to station other then Pin Ups and his debut album after he changed his name. I like his 70s music to put it short. That's basically all the guild needs to know.

I am PaulieRapture99, but you can call me Shannon! LOL! I have been in love with Bowie since the 80's when I first saw the Labyrinth and heard some of his music! My favorite songs are Rebel, Rebel Space Oddity, and I'm Afraid of Americans! biggrin

well I'm pretty new here... I dont have a favourite time period or album or anything and I love way too many songs to list. I looove Labyrinth. And I don't really know what else to say rolleyes

Hey, if any yous guys wanna converse, i got a topic. Diamond Dogs. David obviously took a page from the Who's book with that one. He had Townshend-style powerchords, and mimicked Roger Daltrey's vocalizing.

I am DBFreek. My all-time favorite song is Cactus heart I'm a theatre freak and artist, and David Bowie is my role model. I would love to grow up doing what he has done, even though I know I won't get famous or even deserve to be compared to such genius. 3nodding

i'm CryptoHomoRocker, i preffer the glam era too, thou' i haven't heard as much of his later works.. i like labyrinth a lot too. and i love space oddity and the man who sold the world

what can i say? i love bowie in any form (though some of his 80's stuff was a bit under the normal level) when i first got Heathen and when i first got Reality i didnt think i liked it as much but now i really really do,
