The guild isn't dead, but I haven't been on Gaia for a while. David came to visit, and both of us are addicted to Animal Crossing.
Enjoying the Easter event, anyone?

I'll admit I had a bit of fun at the easter event. Especially when I realized that the Easter Bunny looked like Metal Gear Solid's cyborg ninja. I love the new image of Johnny Gambino atop his tower, seeing it just makes me want to laugh for some reason.
The addictiveness of Animal Crossing is pretty much the one reason I've avoided renting it. But considering how I've never gotten addicted to any of those other games that are supposed to just suck you in and drain your life away (Bejeweled, Metroid Prime, Vice City) I really shouldn't have anything to worry about if I do rent it.

guiou126 That bunny, I'm gonna have him tatooed on my stomach, because he looks like a bad a** Is that going to be a professional job or something more along the lines of what Leonard did in Memento?

I don't do the real-time thing, I change the clock every day so I can play when I want to without missing anything. I write down what time and day it was in the game when I last played so I can continue at the time I want to without going backwards or too far foreward in time. It's not really cheating, since i'm not going months back and forward through time. This way, I can do three or four in-game days in one real day, and then If I have a lot of school work or if I'm going on a vacation, I won't miss anything. Right now I'm in the middle of April.

guiou126 Is that a movie? and speaking of animal crossing, my brother would change the dates to get free rare items Yeah, it's about a guy who loses his short term memory so he can't learn new information. So to remember stuff, he tattoos notes all over his body. I think during the summer I'll try renting Animal Crossing. Usually in the summer months I give up on that whole sleep thing so I'd probably have more time to play it.

DuoTH Yeah, it's about a guy who loses his short term memory so he can't learn new information. So to remember stuff, he tattoos notes all over his body. You know... That sounds somewhat like the main character of Planescape: Torment to me... Loses his memory, but has a snippet of a journal tattooed on his back... Of course, he loses his memor every time he dies. Which is quite often. Except for when the player takes on his role, for some reason... It's genrally a game I would recommend, especially if you manage to find the package that includes a book based on it. Great game, good read. Endings are the same, but the game's is more... complex, due to multiple endings. They all lead into the same actual ending though. ... Plus there's the fact you can talk the final boss into submission instead of actually fighting him... ninja Anyway, enough of my bletherings! I have on me a total of... Well, I have a few baskets left over that I've decided to give to friends who missed the Easter event. If anyone on the guild missed it, feel free to ask me. Though there's someone I particularly want to give one to who hasn't been online recently, so there's a total of three going.

What's cool about Memento is the movie plays backwords. And after you see it you still aren't sure what exactly happens. The movie's website has clues hidden in it though that will hint to what actually is going on.
