Just for clearefication purposes Fedralist is for central goverment(few elite peopel runing the country) and anti is against central gov(self explanitory).

Personaly I think that cental goverment when runned by compitent(sp) people
*cough*not*cough*bush*cough* it runs correctly. When you have a some one who cares for the GREATER good of every one it works out. I mean when they make the right decisisons then people wont want change. Now i do see the flaw in this. People will get pissed off. Im not saying liek a dictator ship, just they should have more power. I think that this opinion of mine has srung off of my utter and raw hate of stupid peopele. I know freedom is an important thing, but i dont think some people should deserve the same freedoms as others sweatdrop

People much smarter than myself have explained the ills of strong central and national government:

The United States was never meant to be an overbearing central government:

"The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people." - Bill of Rights, Amendment 10

"Each State, in ratifying the Constitution, is considered as a sovereign body, independent of all others, and only to be bound by its own voluntary act. In this relation, then, the new Constitution will, if established, be a FEDERAL, and not a NATIONAL constitution." - James Madison, Federalist No. 39

Socialism is what a strong central government eventually leans toward:

"Socialism is a philosophy of failure, the creed of ignorance, and the gospel of envy, its inherent virtue is the equal sharing of misery." - Winston Churchill

The way i see it, its as if the way america is supposed to be is soem sort of huge country made up of small clans. Their would be so many because no one wants to agree on anything so they just split up into diffrent parties or make laws that help both. I see a strong central goverment to resolve these problems, and when you have a good one it is done right every one is smiling. This idea that every citezen should govern themself or have a say in the goverment is ridiculous. For example, Lots of people like george bush becaues of his voice. I dont know about you but i dont want any one who thinkos that the s**t that spews for his mouth is right because it sounds good to have any sort of say in the goverment at all. In my opinon they arent even fit to rule themselfs. The soloution to this is a strong centrall goverment.

Now the mess ups with thoses stong central goverments have been happenign all over. In my eyes the problems with all of it is that the goverment never has complete intrset in happiness for the citiaens no matter what. Now peopel wont be happy with what decisions are made, it doesnt matter because with the good central goverment, the things that it has done are for the good of all and not the small. You might have to sacrafice soem freedoms for a more succsessfull goverment in return.

I think the main issue at stake here is having one person/group of people have the final say in things. What the constitution was trying to prevent was total governing powers in the hands of one individual. Unfurtunately, nowadays the President DOES have the major deciding role in this country's future. Sure, there are ways to get around his opinion, but they are rarely utilized. Then when we try to elect a leader that will better represent us, we can't rely on them to tell us what they actually plan to do. 3/4 of what they say is a lie helping them get elected.

I can't say that I favor the idea of a state government either. We tried that once before in the early 1800's and it led to chaos. Neither of these options are going to lead to having the total happiness of ALL Americans. The only fare way to conduct buisness, in my eyes, is to have a direct democracy (each member of the community votes on each matter of buisness). But that won't work because it would take to long to decide things and still, not everyone would be happy. I like this quote by Bill Cosby, I believe:

"I don't know what the key to success is, but I know that the key to faliure is trying to please everyone."
You just can't do it. Sorry to tell you, but you can't. Even the greatest of leaders can be corrupted by money and power. They'll do whatever they can to keep the position, even if it means lying to the public. Lady Luck, my friends, may deem us good enough to throw out a solution eventually. But until then, we have to try to stay afloat.
