The Kitsune Hanyou immortal mutsumi Numair? he stood motionless, his back to her leaning on his staff. he appeared to be staring at the dead spidren. frightened, the girl dragged herself to her knees, then to her feet. Upright, she swayed. "please....are you alright?" he turned. "You---your alive. i thought....."she staggered over to him. "i hurt too much tobe dead." dropping the staff, numair swept her up in his arms, hers went around his neck. he stroked her back; daine buried her fingers in his hair. pulling away, she tried to get a proper look at him. their eyes met for a breathless moment as heat surged through her body then his mouth was on hers, his breath mingling with her own...... hot sweetness raced through his body making her tingle, making her breath short in her tired lungs, making her knees watery. numair took his mouth away, "no," she whispered and pulled him back. not necessarily a quote but a thoroughly romantic passage from the fourth book in the immortals series by tamora pierce. and it was all i could think of right then. NUMAIR! heart But I liked this quote better: Numair - "Will you marry me?" Daine - "Maybe someday, but only if you're very, very good." Numair - "What if I'm very, very bad?" blaugh Oh, I loved those books, especially that one, but all my friends look at me funny when I talk about them...
