Ok, here's the deal: Let's say you've gathered up buttloads of mana, and nothing to spend it on. And, let's say there's a class you'd like to transmigrate a character to. Now, let's say the character's previous transmigration occured at Level 500. Said character is currently at, let's say 200 or 300. Would there be any loss of stats and the like by transmigrating early? Thanks!

I don't believe that you'll lose stats if you're transmigrating early. In fact I believe the game encourages it, seeing as your stats start going up faster the more you transmigrate. I'm not entirely sure on this though.
What I am sure of is that once you transmigrate that character, all his/her/its mana will go back down to 0, so I advise you make use of any extra mana you have on hand through pupils or through passing assembly bills/bribing senators.

Ah, thanks! See, I had a ninja and space marine, both o' whom were Level 500-600 ish before transmigrating. But I went early and did them both at around 300-400, both space pirates, 'cause I wanted to get down with some stealing! whee
On a somewhat related note, I'm thinking of taking another character through a series of transmigrations as follows: Soldier/Warrior, Mage - preferably getting as many spells as possible! - , Cleric, Prinny, and finally, Dragon. Can anyone think of any gains or losses that character would be taking, and if such effort would be worthwhile? Thanks again!

Well my cousine did do it several times and he told me that he did lose some stats in stregnth(he stoped concentrating on it), but I don't really trust him because he tends to lie for no apparent reason. I asked him if it could be do to him loseing pupil bonusses. He said he didn't have any.

Here is how i found this out.
Save game, take a character up to lv 2000 and transmigrate
Then asap transmigrate him the exact same way.
The stats will be worse because high pre trans lvs give bonuses.
At least thats how it was for me.
