I hate it when people say it is discrimination against the way we look, our skin color, our religion, or the imigrants. I don't think it is discrimination, in our system it takes a long time for someone to approve something. It has to go through several process. However I think 9 years is long enough. I bet if his wife took it to the media they would do something about it. While I firmly believe that this is discrimination, you do have a very good point. In America, getting rights for ANYTHING always takes time. Look at the abolishment of slavery, the banning of segregation (not only for blacks, but for all who weren't white)....these are all examples of what you just said. It took a good 200, 300, maybe even 400 years for this to be recognized as wrong. But think about this: while the actual religion has only been around for a bit under a century, the actual Craft has been around for thosands of years, even before written documents. While the pentagram is used in Wicca, it is also used by the practitioners of witchcraft. So how long must we wait to get that small amount of respect to put something as peacful as pentagram on our damn headstones?
