I'm off school in two weeks, and to improve my French I want to read some French books. Now, I've been studying French for two years, and in the written form I'm pretty good at it. Can anyone suggest a good novel to read but one that is suitable for my level? Anything at all is welcome! Then we come to my weakness. I'm not so great at listening work. Well, I'm okay, but I could be better. Can anyone suggest any French music? I like easy-listening, jazz, pop's okay...sometimes...you get it. Any help at all guys!! biggrin Merci beaucoup. (Feel free to speak French here if you want) pirate

Le Petit Prince Le Petit Nicolas
For music I would recommend Keren Ann.

For music, I'd suggest Jacques Brel. Even though he's the only French-speaking singer I listen to a lot, his music has lots of different flavors. Also, it's sometimes nice to hear someone speak the language from a country other than France (He's Belgian.)
