Didn't want to be greedy with this info so i think i'll share it with you guys sweatdrop there IS a trick on getting event items faster AND rare events...WAY faster...i did it during the race...well accidently ninja biggrin 3nodding
i've gotten....around ATLEAST 4 rare events yesterday and i have 29 tee shirts which i will sell for profit for my sash quest so i am very sorry i can not give it to charity wink
*Note*this is NOT some sort of gaia cheat code or anything...just advise and tips

During events....as you know everysingle gaian goes to the event siteing and gaze at the stuff and stuff....but the forums are empty eek ahhhh....and remember the events?they happen randomly....going to each person a time....but who is there to give the free rare events to when theres no one there? thats where you come in!when everyone is in the event...and if you're down on luck or just need some extra gold...watch the event for a while and pop into the forums...lurk around and you should be able to find some events or two.welll...i found some myself(2 pinklinks in the mansion and 2 blue blue giftboxes and one pink box). this tip also applys to the event items....like the stuff when gambino gives it out...not the easter hunting thing...<-- it doesn't work for that wink remember the race?when word got to mansion...everyone dashed out to cheer the little people moving around the maps....that leaves the mansion empty...and remember the event items? rondomly giving out stuff?it ALSO relys on the amount of people there...so when everyong was at the race...i poped back to the mansion and lurked around.....i got 2 pinklinks and 26 shirts eek thats when i noticed this tip....though it rarely applys counting on the event type 3nodding so if you need some cash for quests or anything...try this tip...it could pay off with some gold 3nodding but lets not be too greedy with this wink domokun domokun xd i hope this helps....after typeing all this my hands are sore so again i hope this helps.

I think a lot of people just opened up new windows to view the race in. I know I did.
And I'm pretty sure you can get events anywhere on the site, even on the maps. You were probably just lucky! xd
Back on Halloween, I remember getting tons of trunks and such, because I was online for something like a solid day, posting constantly. whee

I got 2 pink links, a trunk and a blue box over 2 days during the event.
The pink links were in the Exchange, and the trunk+box were on post retrieval pages in the Olympic forum surprised whee
