Who is this Antique Cafe you speak of?
Formed in 2003, this energetic visual kei band (often described as oshare kei) are known for their happy upbeat sound, colorful costumes, adorable accessories, and unique characteristics. They also go by Antic Cafe and An Cafe, but releases after the Cosmos single is listed as An Cafe.
Signed to the independent label Loop Ash, this 4 member group (Miku, Bou, Kanon, and Teruki), all from the Kantou region of Japan, simply have one misson, and that's to entertain people and just have fun.
The beginning...
The idea of starting a band was orginally formed by Kanon, then later informed Bou and Miku about the idea. They were later joined by Teruki who had left his previous band, Feathers-Blue the same year he joined An Cafe.
At first, the name Athletic Cafe was their first choice for their band name, but later opted for the name Antique Cafe.
