Prince of Persia versus Link.

Let's give Link the magical weeds and rocks that let him replenish stuff and let's give Prince enemies to refuel his dagger.

We'll superimpose one world on top of the other to create a pseudo native land for the both of them.

And it's a Video Game Universe so yes, he freezes time when he's using his Fairy Powers.

Let's see who's time freezing abilities are superior.

As far as Link goes, he won't lose because of Nayru's Love. Besides high falls, he takes no damage whatsoever and can still use his other abilities. The shrubs and rocks give Link the health and magic refills he needs, so he could literally keep the barrier on for as long as he wants. And Link could also catch the Prince off-guard with Din's Fire, a massive ball of fire that surrounds Link and spreads outwards in all directions for about 40 feet.

And if it comes down to it, Link warps to the future with the Ocarina when the Prince is dead.

Note: Is the Prince fast enough to dodge arrows?

I suppose he could turn time backwards and completely avoid them.

Or he could freeze time at the start of the fight before Link could activate Nayru's Love and dish out loads of damage that way too.

True, or Link could go back in time after studying what the Prince does each time, then plan out a sequence of moves to gain him the win.

Note: He could consistently do this until it works.

Link's time travel is rather limited. Why does everyone use it when it is EXTREMELY limited. IIRC, he needs to plunge the Master Sword into the stone in the Temple of Time and that only reflects a seven year time difference. The Prince, on the other hand, manipulates time immediately and can avoid most any fatality (or pretty much anything) on his desire. I don't see Link winning this battle with a Prince who can use his dagger of time to move so fast it looks like everyone else is frozen in time.

If you're talking about the seven year gap, then Prince wouldn't even be there for the battle.

From what I remember, Link can only move forward in time not counting his seven year degrade (if I remember correctly).

If anything, Prince would be the one replaying time to learn Link's attacks.

So are we set that Prince wins?

I'm thinking yes.

Yeah, I can agree with that.
