In england, we have to wear uniform ^^ (no school in england is uniform-free) I would LOVE to loli up my uniform.. But i have had some troubles with being loli in the past.. so i don't wear it in public much.. (I was hit in the faceXD well, punched right on my nose x-x. That's what chavs do if you don't dress to thier saticfactory :3) I am trying to find of a way to loli up my uniform.. but the rules of the school are: No jewlery No head decorations (such as clips), only black or white small plain hair bands. Any clothing from home shall be confiscated. >_> le sigh...

I'm making adjustments to a skirt I have to make it Lolitaish. But I get hasseled at school for being goth. So it's no big deal to me. But I'm planning out a school project and the day I presentI'm dressing up in Lolita.

Heheheh. I am as of yet to dress in lolita in public, but that's probably because I just now finished sewing the basics of my first outfit. It look great.
I plan on wearing it at AnimeFEST! 2005 in Dallas, and again on Halloween at my school (we don't wear uniforms). I long to wear it at the mall or something, but I lack the courage right now (This is a very preppy town...). sweatdrop Plus, my mom would need to be persuaded to even let me pull such a stunt. xp

Okay...so I had planned on going over to a friends house, so I had worn a dress with a lasy corset-type top over it. The skirty part of teh dress has 7 layers of lace and fabric. I also wore some knee-high socks. And....it was mostly black (some of teh lace was pink, but it wasn't so much). I thought we were going to stay in an air conditioned house all day...but that's where I made my mistake. Instead, we ended up walking a half a mile or so out in the blazing sun...I boiled, I tell you, boiled. But I stuck through it, didn't really complain much, got a few cars to honk at me...But once I got home, I ran up to my room, stripped off my multiple layers...and died. No actually, I think I slept, but same thing @.@.

After that there were no knee high white socks for me sad

we have a 19th century village just a town over that my mom, 2 sisters and I visted today. I love going there because that means that I can dress up without my mom getting al weird. My sisters and I all dressed up. I normally like sweet lolita but for history's sake I dress EGA and my sisters were lolita. we looked great. people thought we worked there, asked if we were in the wedding or part of the show. we loved it, everyone was saying how great we looked and how much they loved our dresses. we didn't have bonnets though, apparently that's what we needed to be historically correct. we had so much fun!!

GrumbleCakes Belive me, If I wasn't so poor, I'd dress loli every waking moment... I've got money problems too and i have some stuff. Nothing in terms of brand items OF COURSE. I can sew skirts and trust me, so does everyone else. Skirts are very easy to make. I wear lolita clothes everywhere. I don't dress lolita everyday because i have different styles but at least twice a week. <3

So today me and two of my closest friend went to Austin Texas in the hippy street of Guadalupe in FULL lolita wear. One of my friends had a dress from hot topic that looked ok but she also put another dress for target underneith it that had ruffles and just made the dress SOOO pretty. My other friends wore a dress I made. If you recall the head dress I made and scanned and posted on here, well I made the dress to macht. She was going to wear a top I altered but was to but so she wore a very lacy black ruffled sleeveless top and of corse the head dress. I wore a all white top I made with all the lace you could ever want. Lace on the sleeves and the cuffs, all the way down the front and around the neck and bottom, and to top it all off a big white bow. Its was simply wonderful. We walked all up and down the street and did some shopping in the small little clothing stores and vintage stores. I can now say that this street is my Harajuku

Plutokat your day sounded so cool. You're outfits sounded wonderful also. The main street here practically is a Harajuku so I can proudly call it my home. I'm so shocked by all of the things people comment here. Where I live it's normal to look complete different from everybody else considering you're either 1) a teenager 2) ederly. Nobody cares what anybody wears and at school you get away with anything, jobs not so much but around here they're pretty low on dress and facial. People have said they're gotten hurt because of it which really blows me away. I've never gotten really bad comments (I guess cause people either are afraid or like it) just stares or sarcasm, or stupid questions that make me laugh. It's really sad actually what people describe has happened/s to them. Also, I dont see why nobody seems to say or do anything back ._.

Saltina_major I wear my top hat everywhere. EVERYWHERE! I luuuuuuurve it to death. I wish I could afford the one on Gaia for my Avi. So if you ever see a girl in a top hat in the midle of wisconsin, it's probolly me. Also, I have this big a** black-gem necklace/brooch thing that I wear a lot. I used to dress really cool, then my shrink had my mom set up "boundries" cus I was "alienating" myself. Bah humbug. I love wearing fancy dresses to school. I wish I did more often. Next year's a commin!! I love the Birthday Massacre! I wish they would come to Dallas.

Unfortunately, all of the goth loli stuff that I did have I lost to Hurricane Katrina. I used to wear some of it to school, but I am graduated now and I used to wear a uniform to work. I've been slowly trying to rebuild my collection but it takes money and time. It's a long process. Lucky for me, I've got a much better job now that I'm living in Texas. I make $10 dollars an hour now, so once I really get back on my feet I will be able to really be able to go shopping!
