The Slippery Slope: (This is just how I remember, and a basic overview with not too many details, don't scream at me if I miss a thing or two.) In the Slippery Slope, Sunny is still held prisoner by Olaf and his troupe while Klaus and Violet journey across the mountains to try and get her back. While traveling through a cave they run into a group of snow troops, with Carmelita Spats included. While staying with them out of the storm, they speak with one of the troop's leaders, who somehow knows who they are and what VFD is. They decide to trust him and climb up the mountain through a vertical tunnel, which leads to the burnt ruins of the VFD headquarters. He reveals (at some point around here) that he's Quigley Quagmire, the third Quagmire triplet who happened to survive the fire, unbeknownst to Isadora and Duncan. They find a jar in the burnt refridgerator with a message inside that's supposed to go to J.S. Meanwhile, Sunny's forced to cook for Olaf and improves her culinary skills. Two new villians, the bald man with no hair and a beard, and the woman with hair but no beard. Olaf seems rather afraid of them. Sunny eavesdrops and finds out that the last safe place of VFD is the Hotel Denouement, where Olaf is headed to burn it down. Violet, Klaus, and Quigley climb up the slippery slope and retreives Sunny, where the river bursts through the ice and they raft down on a sled. Quigley is seperated from them and lost in the river, and Olaf and his troupe kidnap the kids in the snow troop, except for Carmelita, who becomes something like Esme's adopted daughter. Violet, Klaus and Sunny rush on down the mountain until they're stopped by a submarine in the water.
