"It would be most appreciated if you did," the woman nods. Barnabas seems like a trustworthy man, even if he does enjoy the company of intoxicating substances- not to mention that he's a decent (even charming) man when he's drunk, it seems.
"I am not very knowledgeable on the subject myself, so for now I must simply wonder until the answer shows itself." She looks at Caligula inquisitively as she says this, as if trying to comprehend a dumb beast suddenly capable of cognition.
She chuckles at the man's comment, and, dusting off her skirt again, says, "Well, I believe I am through here for today. I'll leave you to become better acquainted with your own charge-" she heads for the door- "but I'd advise you not to get too near my own. Bucephalus's presence has riled him a bit," the Norsewoman concludes, waving her cropwhip for emphasis. "It was pleasant to meet you, Barnabas. Hopefully we can converse again soon."
And with that, she is out the door.

Barnabas gave a little bow and a flourish of his hand in farewell. "I will take your advice to heart! And remind Bucephalus of it, besides." If he was told often enough, it might work. That or, Caligula would bite him and he'd learn the hard way to stay away from the little being.
"It was a pleasure to meet you, Miss Alva. I hope that 'soon' comes sooner rather than later"
And she was gone, and Barnabas Woolfe turned to contemplate Bucephalus, just as Bucephalus contemplated him, in all his equine curiosity.
