Rolling his eyes, Jack turned down another hall...then another, and finally paused outside of a door. Nudging it open with his foot, he stepped inside, flicking the light switch with an elbow. The room was a rather simple lab, walls lined with counters and a sink or two, and in one corner stood a large bookcase...though it had very few books on it. Random vials and flasks on chemicals were scattered around the countertops, and on one counter near the sink, a flask of some green liquid was boiling.
Jack carefully set Mauli on her feet, but kept his arm looped beneath hers. She shouldn't put any weight on that ankle, so he would see to it that she didn't. Acia leapt from him shoulder to the counter top, then ran at full speed about halfway around the room, finally leaping down from the counter to dig in the cabinet beneath it.

Mauli watched, fascinated, and put her hurt foot down without realizing it.
OW.
Clearing her throat, she picked it back up again, one eye twitching at the pain. "So... What are you gonna do to it?" She asked softly, her voice quivering. Ugh, hate doctors hate surgeons hate medical treatment...
Remy sniggered softly behind her, then shrugged, rubbing up against his sister's unpained foot. "I bet she'll hafta twist it around afore she can bandage it."

"Just gonna put a brace on it, methinks." Jack shrugged, momentarily releasing Mauli to clear a spot on the counter. Once done, he stepped back to her and, before she could protest, lifted her up to sit on the edge of the counter. He could hear the glider still digging in the cabinet and glanced over his shoulder towards her. "Found the splint, 'Cia?"
A triumphant squeak came from the cabinet and Acia tumbled out, dragging an ace bandage and some sort of clamp. The 'clamp', made of some kind of metal, was vaguely fomed in the shape of a shoe, though was obviously adjustable. One size fits all ;D She scrambled across the floor, pulling both items with her, and finally paused at Jack's feet, chittering proudly.

Tifa had taken her younger brother Odd to explore the mansion, which, obviously, had a lot of room to explore, and had thus captured the interest of both Jivvin and Skull Monkey. They had essentially wandered aimlessly, gone through this door, turned down that hall, when they had spotted Acia, Mauli, and Jack. Tifa, being a great admirer of Jack had immediately dragged Odd after herself.
And what could Odd do? He was a nice guy.
Tifa followed them from a distance...not stalking, she told herself, no, she was simply...curious. And she wanted to say hi, but had sudden...shy moments. All the same, they had followed the trio even towards the labs, and that was when Tifa decided to make her appearance.
"Hi!" she said, padding into the room as though it were the same as all the other rooms. A brilliant green pelt with luminiscent gold streaks, a coat brushed into sheen, and dashing ruby eyes announced that Tifa Lockheart had arrived. She grinned an ivory fanged grin at Jack, Acia, and Mauli.
"Nice t'see ya, Jack. And, I don't believe we've met..." she said, her red eyes flicking from Mauli to Acia. Odd had seen Acia around, and had met Mauli, and Jack didn't bother him that much, so he simply walked in and started to explore the lab. He felt a small tug on his tail, and looked back to see Tifa.
"Don't upset anything," she warned, and let go.
"I'm not stupid," Odd snorted, scowling. He looked down at Mauli's foot, cringing. "What happened?" he said bluntly, warily glancing at the cast. Did she break it? It looked kinda funny...
