STORY NUMBER TWO

Takes place at about 10:40 p.m. Me, and 3 other dudes walk to a nearby Wendy's, and the doors are locked. We walked to Taco Bell and arrived at like 10:50, man. Ok, so we get inside and they tell us the dining room is closed. We're really hungry, and the doors were opened, so one friend says well then why don't you shut your doors then? and another one, who is a little more fearless I guess, say YEAH YOU PRICKS.... one of their employees walks out and watches where we go. We go to a convenience store, and pick up a bunch of snakcs for when we get the munchies, you know chips, cookies, and well, energy drinks, which we love lol. Anyways we were all buying stuff as a group when these two cops come in and say "what were you doin down at Taco Bell" and we're like, "uhh nothing..." Because all we did was say stuff. Freedom of speech, man! Anyways, they took me and a friend in the car, and the other two bought the fod and came into the car. (let me telll you there is no leg room in cop cars lol and no buckles for the pointless seatbelts hanging there...) We're cammed in teh back all four of us, and they drive us to Taco Bell and we get there about 11:00. That's our curfew in the neighborhood. One friend asked why we were there, and they said the Taco Bell people said we threw rocks at their window... I hate Taco Bell now... anyways... one friend gets angry and says "is there any damage or evidence that we threw rocks?" and the cops said "well,...no..." and he goes "WELL THEN WHY ARE WE HERE?" in a rather loud voice. Not yelling, but loud nonetheless. They said we were past curfew. They kept us past curfew, when we could have been home. So I said, "sir, what time is it?" in a annoyed voice. He said "11:02"...They take us out and get our information. This cop was screwing with me... he goes "spell you name" I go "It's Matt, M-A-T-T" I start to spell my last name and he interrupts me and says "that's short for Matthew?" I go, very calmly btw, "yes" he goes "spell your last name" I go to do it and I say the full word before I spell it and he says to spell it please again. I start to spell it and he repeats what i say, purposely interrupting me. I may seem paranoid, but you could tell he was screwin with me, you know? So they don't even give us a ride. We had to walk home. They said we were banned from Taco Bell. I was the last one and as I was leaving, I said in a smart-a** tone "Thank you Sirs, I appreciate it." "Goodnight officers!" "Very Good job!" The only thing that could have made that perfect is if another cop stopped us and we had to explain why we were out past curfew.

But getting in a fight with them, is not smart. Nor fighting. At all. For any reason.

I know they are planning to build a coal factory in my town, which is one of the top pollutants out there! I live in a small Texas town with a lot of wilderness, so it'll be sad to see that happen. I'd love to protest it, but I'm afraid I'd be the only one! I know other people don't agree with it, so we'll see if some people decide to rally.

Unfortunately, being in such a conservative town you really get messed with for protests.

Well, that's 97% true, but even Ghandi would agree that there are instances when fighting is acceptable even from a pacifist's viewpoint. For instance, if you are being kidnapped, or raped, or randomly strangled by a madman, then I think most pacifists would agree that a good kick between the legs is more than called for.
