Malory really, really wanted her to mean that. It would do unprecedented good for his confidence if the first random Feli he met really was impressed by the only thing he could really show off.
He smiled again, eyes darting between her, the ground and the stars, until he finally managed to break his own personal silence, "If... if you look north," he vaguely gestured with his paw, "and see that bright star, there? That's Polaris... and it forms two constellations, the Big Dipper-- that's the one that looks kind of like a big scoop-- and Cassiopeia. She was, um, a queen."
Hesitant to continue before being able to assess whether or not Whisper even cared about something as silly as hunting for pictures in the sky, he momentarily turned his attention downward, to the grass.

((http://darkangel.mizukori.com/other/za_furia.png just posting it here))
Blue were casted heavenward, much like always as the large creature watched the stars up above; many forms were seen within her mind, lips parting slightly to let out a soft snort. It was probable the Ninau had not moved from her spot for hours, or perhaps a whole day as it was; it wasn't like she needed to anyhow... after all, all what she needed lay nearby, grass and flowers surrounding her. All which might've been able to move the large creature was the need for water, and right now thirst was not a problem.
Her present problem lingered in trying to figure out if the stars right above her head formed a bunny a bunny or a cow; the shape had horns, but at the same time it had a long tail, so the ninau found herself tilting her head this way and that several times. In fact, she would've probably continued on pondering her slight dilemma had the sound of voices not interrupted her, and though one of her ears did twitch to focus on the source of the sound, she didn't turn her head for quite some time, her movements heavy and slow.
"What is there show? There's nothing to show but what your eyes can see," it was a wonder how she'd even heard them, but then again, her ears were large, and though it was true her intelligence was... lacking at best, Furia was well known for noticing small details others seemed to miss, "You seek company tonight?" though her form was sitting down, much like a dog would've, it was clear the creature was large; in fact, it would've been vaguely intimidating, what with her horns... had it not been for her dreamy like appearance and the way her languid gaze returned back up to the sky within minutes.

"Practice, I suppose. It's what I do out here... lay in the grass and watch the stars."
At that moment, Malory was having an oddly difficult time remembering what it felt like to be unhappy, crouched low in his dark corner, watching others and hardly even dreaming of leaving. He especially couldn't wrap his mind around the fact that... this sort of thing once seemed like a bad idea to him? Clearly, he still had a lot to learn.
Because if this wasn't true happiness... well, then he really didn't need true happiness after all, because this was just fine.
But still not quite as good as life would ever get, it seemed, for at that moment Furia made her presence known, and Malory hadn't noticed, or cared to hide, how his face lit up brighter than Polaris upon her arrival.
"Furia~!"
Gently snatching up Whisper's one arm, he guided her over to the Ninau, stopping right in front of Furia so as to give her a good look at Whisper. "Whisper, this is Furia. And Furia, this is my f... um. This is Whisper."

"Whisper?" an ear flicked again before her gaze followed, and then her head lowered down to the felis' level, her nostrils flaring as she sniffed at them, no doubt blowing air in quite the intensity as she did so. This done, and once content she'd registered the two smaller creatures' scents, she smiled languidly at them, eyes closing slightly, "My name is Furia... and though I don't live up to my name sake, I think you kind of do, don't you?" her attention stripped away from the sky, the Ninau blinked.
She'd forgotten all about the cow and bunny shaped stars up above, and though there was a nagging thought at the back of her mind that insisted that she'd forgotten something needlessly important, the large creature was prompt to push it aside in favour of company. It wasn't often that other feli neared her, her size no doubt impressive, or perhaps... the idea of lingering around one that did not belong to their species slightly unappealing. Whatever the case, it didn't matter to Furia. Not really, fact was however, that she was happy to see her small friend, and idly hoped she'd add Whisper to her small list of 'friends' which really... only consisted of Malory.
The notion of finally being able to add an 's' to the end of 'friend' was appealing enough that she smiled, "Have you come to see the starts tonight? Or is there something... going on that I've missed?" after all, she'd sat through the whole Neela ordeal and never even noticed something had been amidst, "Or have you come to relive old times?" a pause followed, then she lowered her head fully to the floor near the two feli, allowing them, or rather, offering them space to hide on top of her head; she was used to it, Malory did love that... hiding away from the world up there, "There is... room for two."

It was hard not to notice the total change in his demeanor; while it was true that Malory had slowly been becoming more and more cheerful as the minutes passed with Whisper, he was now showing unprecedented amounts of unrestrained joy. With an almost childlike eagerness, Malory turned and hoisted Whisper up, helping her climb onto the back of the Ninau's head. As soon as he determined she was safely situated, he followed suit.
"No, nothing special, besides the stars. I was vaguely hoping to find you too, though." Though Furia could obviously not see Malory from where he was, the smile was evident enough in his voice. "Whisper's never come here before, you know." Then, leaning down close to her ear, he whispered directly into it, "I was sort of hoping to impress her."

"The stars are pretty," came the Ninau's voice as she slowly lifted her head up to the sky, the felis now getting the same view she was as she once more sat down in that odd... dog like pose, an ear flickering ever so slightly as Malory spoke into it. No sound was emitted by the larger creature, however, she smiled; an expression that went no doubt unnoticed by those that sat upon her head, however the small chuckle that followed did not, "Ah..."
Tell truth, she'd felt the need to impress others at times, mostly due to the fact her... intellect simply usually wasn't up to par, specially not around those of her own species, so somehow, she did know hoe the fae felt, "Let me show you both something then," she never explain if this 'something' was a material something or not, however, she slowly stood up, her head lowering slightly, "Grab hold... because there is nothing more fascinating... than when the wind blows against your mane and you're running under a starlit sky in a solitary meadow," and this said, the Ninau took a moment to stand on her hind legs and launched herself into a rushing gallop, her hooves hitting loudly against the earth.
The wind did indeed blow against them, so much that the horse-like creature's mane blew behind her, her smile growing slightly as she speed forth, her hooves lifting up little bits of grass as she went. There was little she could do to stop herself from neighing in happiness, because in a way... she had lied; there was something better than running under a starlit sky in a solitary meadow, and it was no doubt.... running under a starlit sky in a not-so-solitary meadow, because friends made all the difference.
