ok, since this has been kinda dead, some news from the actual hydeist times, vol. 9:

- hyde's live tour 2008 has been announced. 6 days of lives in each of 6 locations (sendai, sapporo, fukuoka, nagoya, osaka, and tokyo) at the zepp venues, starting on aug. 1st and going till october 25th. most current deets are posted on the special flash site (click on the lil red blimp on the top page of hyde.com)

- vol. 9 of hydeist times opens up with a long interview based on various keywords (eg. 'health', 'song', 'energy', 'imagination') on which hyde makes a comment. some notable comments:
= him reminiscing about how he took breakdance lessons during school cuz for some reason there was no gym course (???), but he couldn't freestyle so he ended up kinda sucking at it sweatdrop
= he feels like he's losing his imagination/inspiration because he's been so busy lately (poor haido!!! sad )
= singing has become more fun than it used to be, but the most fun times for him are when he's drinking cool
= in 10 years he wants to settle down and become a hermit writing acoustic songs cuz he'll be too old to be doing rock... rolleyes
= he cried a lot during the lives this year, especially during yuki no ashiato... and he also cries when he watches the movie 'my dog skip' (has anyone else watched this?...)

- he goes on to talk a lil about the upcoming tour. it's still in the development stages so he hasn't even thought much about the splash site, but he's apparently already written one new song and he's concentrating on writing more right now, rather than focusing on the image and planning of the tour (since it's still early).

- quick splash about the upcoming 2008 tour, which has no more details than as mentioned above.

- following that is a piece about hyde trying to draw a bouquet of flowers... and it takes him 2 hours confused it turns out really pretty though (i can upload a screenshot if anyone is interested in seeing)

- next is an ad for a line of hydeist 'feather pens' (not really feather, they're plastic ballpoint pens, but they're modelled to look like feather quills) which will be on sale in the new year

- next is a flash trivia game... which i apparently suck at cry

- next article is hilarious: about the progression of hyde's eyebrows, with special mention of his shaved look in the kasou pv xd

- aaaand then a bunch of behind-the-scenes photos etc.

- what? hyde's an astronomy geek? there's a whole section called 'hyde's space study' where he contemplates some cosmic questions (...seriously?).

- and finally, an overview of special holiday season goings-on at the hydeist site for christmas.

sorry to skim through the successive sections, but my eyes are gettin tired from squinting at my screen to read everything. if anyone wants more specific details from any of the sections, lemme know and i'll go back and look through them more thoroughly and post up the info. wooow my head hurts now...
