E-heh my first ever topic on the G.I.T.S guild..you can imagine how my nerves are at the moment sweatdrop
Anyway, I was just wondering.. although most of Section 9 are fully cyborg's aside from Togusa, Saito ( well Saito's half cyborg) and Aramaki.
Does anyone have a good guess at what their ages are?
Although I do know that Togusa's 27 years old, it's never really revealed how old the others *would* be.
My own guesses were..
Batou - 38 ( I dunno..he just struck me as being a guy in his 30's for some reason)
Motoko - In her late 30's too..so possibly.. 37, 38 or 39 ( one of the three ^^; )
Paz - 35
Saito - 34
Ishikawa - In his early to mid 40's
As for Borma, I'm not too sure about the poor guy ^^; , probably in his 30's as well.

Yeah, I figure they are in their thirties and Aramaki is in his early to late sixties, since he is the oldest and Ishikawa is the second oldest. But, in the episode where Saito explains his life in the war and how he ran into Motoko, Batou, and Ishikawa, Ishikawa didn't look that much older then Batou and Motoko so he'd be somewhere around forty.

bakakitsune You have to take into account, they are cyborgs, and were back then. I know, but I hardly doubt they are pushing fifty or sixty. You have to take that into account. They can't possibly be in their early twenties and they can't possibly be elderly like Aramaki.

They can't possibly be in their early twenties and they can't possibly be elderly like Aramaki. I agree. I'd say they were in their thirties, early forties at most. I doubt they are fifty or sixty.

Aramaki isn't cyborized? I always thought he was. Oh well.
And I could of sworn them mentioning something in an episode about Motoko being in her thirties. (but, don't quote me on that, since I suffer from short term memory loss)

i have to say that motoko is a lot older than she looks...shes way to mature and experienced to be so young...although im gunna guess late 20s early 30s...like 29 or 31 4laugh

yeah i guess most of them do look like their in their 30s but major looks more in her late 20s and aramaki more like i would late 50s or early 60s

I thought the Major was late 30's and Batou early 40's, but I've been wrong before! =P

I'd say there body has material of all ages.For example:Cyber brain 3 months. Prostetic skin 2 weeks. Enternal skeleton 1 month etc.

If you go to the official GITS movie site and look at Motoko's character bio, it says that she appears to be in her mid-20's, but her actual age is estimated to be in her late-30's.
The only other character bio where their age is mentioned is Togusa's (late-20's)
Their. Partial, but main, dilema solved. biggrin
