Edited: I hope I'm not being a nuisance, I need help again... This time it's Shuffle chapter 4.

Looks like an honorific in a kansai-dialect/kansai'ed up badboy accent. The nasutte and the extended ee lead me to think that way, but I don't have a good way to translate that to you.

Also, for your number two section, the statement from the context of this frame alone makes the translation of the father doing those actions. Shia is asking him what the heck he's doing, and he's responding to her. It makes more sense if he's telling her that his crazy antics are his prep for greetings at the school.

That's the reason why she doesn't want him to go with her, and she's going out of her way to ask him not to.

Thanks for helping out. I really suck with figuring out who's referring to what.

I need help with one more thing. For sound effects, what does 'soba' represent?

2nd panel, bottom corner:

Context: In the previous page, the father was talking about how you have to make 'house warming noodles' (hikkoshi soba) and if the neighbours don't like the taste, the family will be ostracised.

My guess was that 'soba' was referring to the noodles, but 'soba' also means 'vicinity' etc, but it doesn't really make sense.

It looks to me like she's just muttering the word 'soba' to herself. I don't think 'soba' is a sound effect, and anyway, if it were, it would probably be written in katakana.
