It is a demo, that much I know. It is listed as 1989. The sound of his sounds like it from that era. I believe it was recorded in his home studio and was meant for the solo album he never did. The track is very clean.
I found it is a good song to listen to when angry, the ocean sounds calm my nerves.
The other demo he did you might be thinking of which is much older than this track is Ariel. I love that one.
