See, I'd prefer a real book. We already know what they look like, so why do we need a manga to remind us? Plus, there'd be less novels to buy, therefore cheaper.

Very true... But the fun thing about manga is that the story has to be told in a different way, in order to keep the manga from spanning to 20 or so volumes, and it's interesting to see how different it is in a manga. But I think a novel would be best, especially for Suikoden V. Now, I want to see Suikoden as a manga... and novel... and anime...
