I really don't like Kagome, but not to the point where I hate her. I admitt she has her good points, in some ways I like her. But I don't hate her. The same for Kikyo. So, I am like in between sweatdrop .

I can't say I really hate any character (other than Naraku, of course), although I have occasional crushes on anime characters. People can choose to dislike a character if they want, but keep in mind that it is a story. The reason Kagome didn't run away screaming was that if that happened, it would be a very short manga.

i personally don't like either of them better than the other. kikyo died, so she's gone unless she gets brought back to life again. kagome on the other hand is a continuous part of the show and inuyasha is falling for her. for anyone who thinks that the only reason he digs her is because of kikyou is a complete moron. i suppose what im saying is, the show is called inuyasha and is about inuyasha and that is who i focus on. not the other characters so much.
p.s. pleeeeeaaaaaase don't yell at me.
