Ooh, me likes! heart It reminds me of the shoes our captain drew. I like yours, they're wrinkly and and they have character! I like your realistic technique. Excellent job, though you may want to take a better picture! 3nodding

Dirty_sox3 they are very nice heart i like your style. oh, and here are shoes i had to draw for my class xd http://www.deviantart.com/view/23845585/ Wow. Part of it looks like a photograp. Especially the shoe in front. eek I miss my vans shoes...shoe...I only have one left I lost the other one. (long story wich includes me being drunk and throws away both shoes, walks home barefoot, goes back the next day and find only one shoe on top of a car...) Very popular for art teachers around the world to make all pupils draw their shoes it seems.

drawing shoes is great, each pair tells a different story.
as worn as those are, you start asking yourself how much they've seen.
i think this drawing is very well executed, the lighting is a bit confusing to me though. there's no shadow beneath either of the shoes for the shadows in the creases of the shoes to be that evident + the shading on the box should maybe be darker on the left pannel.

& maybe smoothing it out a bit.. the light area around the hand and shoe looks a bit starange and random.
keep working on it.It's alwayz best to work from observation. heart

I agree about the lighting..
I was mostly working on the shading and EVN most of the shoes with out the actuall shoes/figures infront of me.I have been pretty bad with lighting and have recently relized how important it could be in a picture..
I'am really disapointed that I sent this in a slide to the collge board in my portfolio and to me it looks so crappy now..
I also agree about the box being darker on that side panel you mentioned. THANKS SOOOOO MUCh for you'r helpfull comment & I'am glad you liked it!~ heart heart note it's really late...I'll come back & edit later..HEH sweatdrop ::: sleep

there wanst really a direct lightning source ( if I say this right) I was in a room with on three walls windows that are the lightning sourve rofl So I always have bad light in there xd
