Another...?
June 30th, 2006.
Well again... lots of things have happend since I last wrote in Sadiki's journal. Too start things off lets go with the kind of good kind of bad scene. Ki finally met my father, her grandfather. It was a strange meeting, I'd gone back to school finally and was the end of the day... I was meeting someone and mom was taking me. For some reason dad was there and well Sadiki was aswell. [I think she snuck into the back seat of the car.] And she just ran up to him and cried 'Pop!' and hugged his leg.
After mother and I got done explaining-- his face got really red. But he only picked up Sadiki and asked her if she was a present from Santa Claus. She giggled and said that she was... and then he went and bought her lots of stuff. And I also caught him calling up old buddies and telling them that I had adopted her.
Yup... and then he told the Scott side. We've been avoiding most of them for a while now... I wonder if Gael knows.
Many of the things that have happend to Sadiki. Some of them are not really for me to write about in her journal. Either that or I run out of time to write about them.
Anywho--
Sadiki now has a, unoffical, little brother. His name is Griffen and he has not become a child yet. She's really excited but I'm not sure that she realizes what a little sibling is.
Actually I am not sure how I am going to handle them both. It's going to be quite an experience!

July 4th, 2006.
Sadiki, me! Is writing in this here journal. I'm writing this with the help of my best bud Rook. So that I won't make so many mistakes and stuff.
Mommy usually writes here. But I wanted to. Cause she really seems to like it. But I don't really like it all that much.
Rook is laughing now at how slow I write now. His laugh sounds fune.
Mommy has been acting weird lately. It all started a few days ago when Pop let me look in this thing called a foto album.
Mommy was at the store.
When she came back I showed her a picture of a little girl. I found out that it was her when she was a kid. And a kinda big but not a growed up boy. He was hugging her from behind and they were both smiling. I think they were at somebody's house.
Mommy got really sad looking when she told me that his name was Gale [Gael]. And she's been kind of moping around. Pop says that I should ask somebody that I've never met fore. I can't spell his name either.
It isn't Tryton. I don't know.

July 22nd, 2006.
Gran says that my life is very eventful. [new word!] Because I got a new baby brother the other day. His name is Damisin and he has green hair and mommy says that his eyes are retro pink.
But I don't think so. I think that he the eyes of the devil in Rook's bible. He has pointy ears and stupid eyes just like him. When I told Rook that he told me that he has red eyes. So he looks like the devil too.
So I told him that I liked him and Damisin was stupid. His face blushed then. Rook told me that Damisin was a baby and that babes need lots of attention. They cry alot too.
But mommy has too much to do without having him.
He made mommy cry. I'm not going to forgive, I'm going to rehabiltate [new word and spelling!] him. I'm going to teach him everything that he needs to know so that Mommy won't cry anymore trying to teach him.
I've already taught him to beat pots and pans. And not to pull on my dress and laugh and giggle when people tickle him. I showed him who was who in Mommy's friends. Because he has to know so that he won't embaress [new word!] her like I did. Mommy didn't cry then. But she would cry because of Damisin.
I told Rook and Diver all of this. Diver laughed and called me stupid. So I kicked him like I always do. Rook pulled me up in his lap and hugged me and said that I was just in denial. [new word!]
Diver just smiled and cuddled up to us. His wings started to sing again. So I guess we all fell asleep because when I woke up I was in Rook's room. Diver had gone home and Rook was under me. I don't know why but when his mommy comes in and we're like this she gets angry. And takes me downstairs and locks Rook in his room. Saying words that I can't understand. I asked Gran and mommy once. Mommy knew and she said that Addy was protecting me from the bad side of Rook.
Wanted to ask Rook what the bad side was. But I didn't get the chance. He and Diver never let me.
One time I snuck to the school that mommy goes too. And saw a boy their. I think that his name is Triton. But I'm not sure. Mommy was glad to see him, so I wondered if that was my daddy or uncle.
When I asked Gran, she coughed and giggled. She told me that was more like an uncle. That I should never ask Mommy. Gran didn't say why.
But now I guess that it would make mommy cry. I won't ever make mommy cry like Damisin did. Never never never!

A little weight taken off...
Sadiki sat on the front porch of her little home. Inside she could still hear the wailing of her baby brother Damisin. Even in her sleep, what little she ever got nowadays, she could still hear that mournful wail. All she wanted right now. More than anything else in the world was for Were-Ah to give the baby away. Sadiki wanted that more than she wished for a bicycle or that new pencil case that she had seen in the store the other day.
She looked down at the earth beneath her feet, her eyes on the ants that walked all in a straight little line towards the queen and home. Sadiki had always been jealous of the ants. They always did what they were told but it was out of love of the queen mother. She felt a sudden deep connection to the ants in front of her. She did everything out of love for her Mommy right? It’s just that she messed up a lot. Such as yelling at her mother when she had to go to school the day before. And for saying that she hated her Mommy because she forgot to take her to the play date that she had been invited too. When Sadiki had seen the look of hurt, shame, and something else that she couldn’t explain on her Mommy’s face, the little Neko had decided to punish herself.
So that was why she was sitting out on the front porch, in the cold snow. Wait, now that she thought about it. Why were the ants out during this time of the year? They should all be in the anthill deep underground. All toasty and warm. But the thought was quickly flung from her mind as something odd caught her eye. A feather was falling from the sky! She jumped up from her perch on the doorstep and rushed over to catch the feathery object. She looked up at the feather, it was floating in midair! Just too high for her too reach. So she began to jump to capture it within her tiny fingers.
The white feather seemed to have a mind of its own. Because it flew away towards the back of the property, with Sadiki at its heels. In a manner of speaking anyway. “Where’a ya goin’?” Sadiki called out as she saw that the feather was headed towards the woods at the back of her home. She had never been this far back before without someone around. But she kept on, like a good little soldier.
The feather suddenly stopped and fell to the ground. And Sadiki dove for it, grasping the silky smooth ripples of unidentifiable softness in her little fingers. The snow all around her seeping into her clothing and the cold started to bite at her flesh and the inside of her nose. She shivered almost violently, but her grip on the feather… almost made her feel warm.
“Wha’cha doin’ the floor?” came a voice inside of Sadiki’s mind.
“Nothin’, I’s goin’ ba’ t’n the ’ouse!” she called as she got up and brushed off the snow and other things that had accumulated on her winter clothes. She looked around once more but saw no one. Her little chest heaved with a heavy and hot sigh. The fog from her breath covering her glasses… her little face fell, holding the feather to her heart. All of the bad feelings seemed to go away, as long as she held the feather.
The feather started to leak. The white and softness of the feather was disappearing, slowly being absorbed black and scales like things…
But Sadiki did not notice as she wondered back towards her home. Her heart and soul were light, she felt like she could fly! The cries of her baby brother and the howls of Brishen did not even discourage and weaken her like they normally would have. Today she felt like the feather… and the snowflakes.
High above the ground where Sadiki was tottling along was someone that she had never had the chance to meet. Someone that she would never meet either…
Dark, almost black, red hair was thrown over a shoulder. A young Scott girl with a stocky build was sitting on one of the many tree branches above where the feather had stopped. Upon her back were two, almost transparent like the rest of her, white wings. Her clothes were floating every which direction and white. But it was impossible to describe them, just like the smile and the look in the girl’s eyes.
“Collete Scott gonna be’a Guara’in An’el t’ Sadiki Scott eh? Sound’a goodly t’ me!” the girl said as she plucked off a feather from her back, “I thin’ I wai’ t’ give’a this’d t’ Were-Were… ain’t the righ’ time ye’,” Collete reasoned…
Sadiki watched from the doorway as her mother cried and cried. Her mother was at a loss. She had done what the school doctor had advised and it still did not work.
But Sadiki was only smiling, with her pretty blue eyes widened in angelic bliss.

Tuesday. Oct. 10th, 2006.
It's me again. And a lot of things have happened since I last put pen to paper. [I love that! ‘since I last put pen to paper.’.] I have a new brother. He’s name is Menkura. The first I saw him I got all warm in my chest. He has the same hairstyle as Pop, but it’s brown instead of jet black. His left [I think.] is blue and his right eye [I think.] is yellow. He’s goes up to Mommy’s shoulder and he has the powers of Air. He goes to the school called Tower of the Magi. But that’s near here so he can come home a lot more than the other kids that live in the dorms there. I won’t tell how Kura came to be in our family because then I would have the need to explain everything and I think that something bad had to happen…
On to more important things. But I’ll start with the least important thing. Today while I was in lessons with Adraia the Inu-Taki twins came running in with Fluffy their Pop and yelling about how much fun they had. The two were talking about some people named Ryu and Feng and how much fun they all had. Rook asked where they had met them, Jima told him that they were the kids of Kara Winters. That’s the lady that watches over us Neko and is the Mommy of Triton. Mommy’s best friend. [Mommy has a lot of best friends. She has a lot of friends in general actually.]
I want too meet Triton. Again. Because I remember, but it’s really fuzzy and Mommy says that he’s gone through his final growth stage. He’s an adult now. When Mommy said that she looked really sad but a smile on her face. I wonder if I’m the only one that can tell when Mommy’s sad. Because everyone else just smiles along with her. They don’t ask. I makes me mad, mad enough to break this pen in half. But I won’t. Because Rook and Diver got this for me. It has a wing on it, it’s a at thing from when Rook and his Mommy go to see his auntie. He says that she’s got all of this weird junk lying around. But you can find some pretty cool stuff! He got it for me and Diver put a drop of magic on it so that it wouldn’t ever run out of ink.
Anyway. On too even more important thing. Damisin stopped crying and Mommy is better. She’s different, but better.
Something amazing has happened. Something to me. I feel different. It’s so hard to explain. I don’t want to explain it because it seems like if I write it down then I’ll be telling the world. Odd feeling. Because this little book is mind… right?
It’s not like what that strange Kamigami says… that our Lady in the Clouds in watching and recording!?

Dear Diary,
That’s the first time that I’ve ever said something like that isn’t it? I’ve been reading a lot of books that say that sort of thing. Or the diary will have a name. But I think that it’s kind of silly. Anywho, [Adraia says that a lot.] there’s been several things that have happend that I have to write about. Because if I talk about them I feel sick. Well, about two or three of of them. 
The first of them is that Mommy told me about us Neko’s stages of life. I don’t want to be a teenager before Diver is! I just want to be me forever when I told Mommy that later. She just gave that happy smile that I know is really sad. I found that Triton was in the same stage as me when he and Mommy met.
I asked Gran why she would hang out with a little kid like that. “Rook and Diver are your friends aren’t they? It’s the same thing, but, not even a year ago your mother was still running around on Saturday mornings watching the cartoons. She’s had to face a lot of stuff... she had to grow up way to fast.”
When I asked her the noun. Who, what, where, and why. She only told me that I needed to clean my room before Mommy came home. So I did... but then Menkura asked me the same thing. He really needs to stop eavesdropping. [new word!] So we obliterated [new word!] some of  Mommy’s photo albums. They’re was some really werid stuff going on. And we tackled Jinx for the story.
Mommy went on a shopping spree and she got me and my bubby’s all this different stuff. It was awesome! I even got the most beautiful ring ever
and a bunny plush that I named Twilight. Oh and I’m an Auntie too. Wolf and Ressa found a Neko Koenko girl and they named her Kairi. She’s really cute! But she can’t talk all that well yet. The Inu-Twins are overprotective of her. Seriously! 
Rook finally has a power like his mother. It’s a power that allows him to know someone’s true name. That sounds really silly until you hear it explained. A True Name is the names that the stars of your world know you by. He goes into a trance and his horns get a lot bigger and they get so hard that it hurts just touching them.
My name is Twilight. Like Twilight the Bunny. When Rook told me that I was scared at first, bt when I told him he said it was hitzuen. No idea what that is. Diver is still Nadiv. Probably because his grandmother is one of the stars. And Rook said that he can’t Name himself. That’s really sad and unfair.
P.S
The story was very very bad.
Mommy use to have a boyfriend. It’s a long story. A really bad and awful story. Thinking or talking about it makes me sick inside and my nose sting. So writing might make me nasty sick too. Kura said that since Mommy’s memories were taken away of that boyfriend... we shouldn’t tell her. But I can’t help it. It’s like the abortion thing on TV all the time. Expect instead of a brother or sister it was a Daddy. Would he have been our Daddy?

Happy New Years!
January 21st. 2007.
Dear Diary,
Guess what!? Mommy got me a phone! Not a phone that you keep in you’re house, but a cell phone! A real, honest to goodness cell phone! It’s bubblegum pink and Menkura got one too! Mommy and Gran both said that they got us them encase something ever happens to us! I’m so happy! Now I’m able to call Pop or my friends at any time that I want. It’s so much fun!
Mommy got me a cool ringtone for it too. It plays the Hamtaro theme song until I pick it up. Menkura’s is someone from the show he and Mommy are obsessed [new word.] with saying ’Not answering this call would be illogical.’ or something like that. I don’t like Star Trek all that much. As much as I love my phone, I’ve been trying not to use it around Damisin. He gets confused when I talk to someone on it and no one else is around. His face scrunches up and he tilts his head to the side. I’m gonna try and figure out what’s wrong with him. After my homework.

I lost my calendar.
Dear Journal,
Something wonderful happeneds! Mommy’s birthday was the other day and someone dropped off a little puppy . . . thing. He’s name is Sasuke. He is really fun to play with and is soooo cute!
But the thing is, Sasuke doesn’t like Mommy at all! He growls at her when she comes near! Its very strange but Sasuke likes me. He’ll lick on my face, stuff like that. I don’t know if he likes Kura or not. It’s like Sasuke ignores him or something. Squall bashed him over the head when he growled [Mommy didn’t mind for some reason.] so Sasuke is ‘submissive’ around him.
Kori likes him. I don’t know why.
He sleeps with me. The Others do that too, but I really don’t sleep too well when they do. But when Sasuke is by me I feel alright. I read in a book about puppies that they like to get into everything. The author of that book is right! Sasuke just got into my paints . . .
